“This is my favorite Chinese food place in south Florida. My husband doesn’t like it, so we keep trying different places, and for me nothing compares to the food at South China. They are the only place that does not put scallions in their soup! I love The green leafy stuff in the soup, not sure if it’s bok choi or what, but it reminds me of the soup I used to get At Chinese restaurants in NY. Their crab Rangoon's, egg rolls and pork egg foo young are better than any other place I try. Every time I order take out, the food is consistent. I recently ate in the restaurant with my dad, and yes it’s not fancy, it’s outdated, maybe a little musty, but the service was good, it was clean, the price was reasonable, the portions were large and the food tasted just how I like It.“

I stated I would return and who knew today was the day my daughter whom is Military wanted something to eat and I recommended this location we called in the order and it was definitely fresh and ready. “New owners and the name is changing to Kirin. One thing that hasn’t changed is the best Chinese food in south Florida. We had hot and sour soup, lobster with ginger and scallions, Peking duck and beef chow fun. The dishes were all excellent. I hope the new owners are successful as I can’t wait to go back even though it’s a 22 mile drive from home. They don’t have their liquor license yet so bring your own for now.“

“First time at Asahi Chinese & Japanese Restaurant. Ordered ahead for pickup. Order was ready real quick. The staff was friendly and cashed me out fast. We got the shrimp lomain and the bourbon chicken dinner specials with wonton soup and egg rolls. Everything was packed good and their was no spillage. The food itself was fair. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. On the good side, nothing was oily and portion size was reasonable for the price. Maybe next time we will have to ask them to spice things up a bit. :)“

Food is great, absolutely, amazing matter of fact, so is the service. Had no issue with them, they are all kind and welcoming. “This place keeps showing up as a place to try. I decided to see what the fuzz was all about. It is not a restaurant as in the way we are used too. It's a take out place. It is small inside and it gets crowded. You don't want to eat inside. There are a few chairs inside but they are for waiting, not eating. The waiting is not long. The menu is posted on a wall and there is a counter where you can view some of the things the place has. The food is sold by the pound and it's cash only here.
I read some of the reviews. They all recommended the crispy pork. I got some and lived it. It was crispy. The honey roasted pork, I thin that is what I got. I liked too and I got other things that I can't name now. It's a great place to try new things.

“Stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday while running some errands and so I'm happy I did. Tokyo Peking Express is located in Tamarac in the Publix plaza that has Xfinity. The restaurant feels very comfortable with nice seating, large tables and great lighting. You take your order at the front register and wait until they bring your food out to you. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the lunch special (sesame chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll). I also ordered fried wantons and two cans of coke. One thing is for sure you will need to go boxes because it is a lot of food. I was also pleasantly surprised that even when I took some food home with me it still tasted fresh and warm. All and all I recommend Tokyo Peking Express if you are looking for great Chinese Food in the Sunrise/Tamarac area.“

“Best lunch special I've had in a while! My regular Chinese Spot is closed on Tuesdays so I called King Chef instead. It was $15 for the meal, delivery and a little over 20% tip. Delivery didn't take long at all. I got the honey garlic chicken with the sauce on the side, so the chicken was nice and crunchy, pork fried rice was delicious, it was all still piping hot and somehow the Pepsi was still ice cold. Honorable mentions: The portion was huge and the girl on the phone was extremely helpful and patient. Honestly this is exactly what I needed. “My wife and I stayed at a local Ft. Lauderdale hotel after our cruise. We saw a menu for the China House restaurant at the hotel. We ordered the "A" Family Pack for lunch which contained:\n2 Egg Rolls, 1 quart of egg drop soup, 1 quart of chicken fried rice\nchicken with broccoli and General Tso's chicken. We didn't realize what a HUGE amount of food we would receive for $25.95!!!\nAll the items were delivered quickly and so hot we had to wait for the soup to cool before we could eat it.
