“We've been to Vicky Bakery too many times to count. This location is conveniently located in Cooper City at the corner of Stirling and Palm Ave.

This place it's usually always busy. The prices are inexpensive and food/coffee is good. We occasionally stop by here to grab a beef empanada and cortadito. Seriously, it's super cheap! Empanadas are $3.25. Cortadito is $3.50.

The staff is always nice and very efficient which makes the lines go by pretty quickly. The space is simple with a few tables and chairs inside.

A few other items we've tried here include Cuban sandwich, palmer/elephant ear, guava & cheese pastry, pastelitos, croquettes, cheese tequenos, pan de bono and egg croissant sandwich. Vicky Bakery is popular for a reason. Check them out!“

“What can I say about three palms? Firstly, I walked in, to place an order for our school for the teachers welcome back breakfast. Not only did Bertha, Ivon and Lady make me feel right at home, they literally make you one of the family! Next thing I know there’s a plate of arroz con pollo in front of me and I’m getting shown all the photos of her granddaughter’s quinciniera! Im sold! “Excellent Cuban food, but not service is lacking.
Had an absolutely delicious Cuban sandwich with suckling pig meat and ham. My dad had a mofongo looking dish, that he enjoyed.
There was only one young woman actually working, and even though we were the only customers, we felt rushed to order. Mightve been a language barrier as we stated we needed a minute and she asked a few seconds later.
Then two drunk guys had her attention even they didn't buy anything, and it took forever to get the check. Only other employee sat at the register and didn't look up from his phone once.
Great food, but for those prices and lack of patrons, the service should be better. Was over $40 for two meals and two sodas.“

“This little gem is in my neighborhood and it’s been at least 16-17 years since I first walked in the door. The food is excellent, it’s a family owned and operated business, you can tell they care and they’re very real people. The mom’s demeanor when dealing with trouble customers reminds me a lot of the tattoo shops I’ve worked in, they are not a chain so they don’t have to suffer stupidity. I don’t think anything there is cooked off site, bread nor pastries. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal there. The daughter, who is only there part time now is charming, welcoming and among the most beautiful people I’ve ever laid eyes on. Oh! The prices. Not bad at all. Not dirt cheap as Cuban food goes, but definitely affordable. Places like this don’t seem to exist much outside of Little Havana, the Caribbean and Central America. This kind of restaurant/diner is part of the reason I fell in love with South Florida.“

“Having grown up in Miami, Cuban food is natural to me and it is always good to get back to it from time to time. La Carreta is part of the Valls Group which also owns the iconic Versalles Restaurant on Calle Ocho in Miami. I ordered the Cuban Sampler Plate which was an excellent choice for those wanting to try it all. A tad too much Salt in the Picadillo and the need for a tiny bit more moisture in everything else, but this is nitpicking. La Carrata sets the standard for Cuban fare.“
