“This is a one man operation and the owner is great. If you ever read a review on here saying he is not friendly, you need to keep in mind that he is running it by himself. He doesn’t have time to coddle your ego. And by the way, I found him to be endearing. He runs his business the way he needs to by having you fill out a sheet and then he freshly slices all the meat. Expect to wait as he can only do so much.Now, onto the review. The sandwiches are huge, taste fantastic and he uses quality ingredients. We ate our two subs for days. “This is a great hotdog spot. Probably my favorite in the area. Staff are courteous and attentive. I got my chili dog and onion rings in just a few minutes and the serving of the onion rings was surprisingly generous with a great dipping sauce. Hot dog has a great bite and I love the simplicity of a chili dog done well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Only issue is they only accept cash so come prepared but the prices are very reasonable.“

“Love the place! the portions are great and so is service. Unfortunately the last couple times I encountered something wrong. Gave it a 2nd try and I won't be back. While the ladies are kind and fast at such a busy shop, I have seen a lady touching her face (nose) and then scratch her face with her gloves on and back to preparing food with the same gloves. The next visit, she went to the back room and was quick with her phone with gloves on and returned to preparing food with said gloves.. If anything, I would prefer she change her gloves when she is touching other "personal items" when returning to food. The workers are super nice and the sandwiches are huge and you have a choice of so many toppings to add on free. I ordered the veg turkey because I'm vegetarian and it tasted great. It's unusual for a sub shop to have so many vegetarian options but Capriotti's is really the place for vegetarians as well as meat eaters They have veg turkey and veg chicken i believe. All great options for a vegetarian like myself. The deserts here are really good too. they have a dessert called the brookie which is actually a brownie and cookie combined. and their cookies are really scrumptious. No joke. I would highly recommend this restaurant and i eat at a lot of restaurants. I know what i speak of.“

“So I had a long day, I was outside in the hot South Florida sun for at least 7 hours at The Central Broward Park. My friend saw this placed and we went in. I was not in "food critic mode" so I didn't take pictures, but when I tell you the food was bussin'?! Believe me. I was doing my happy food dance and my hunger was thoroughly satisfied. I got a potato with steak, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The potato was softy and perfectly cheesy, the steak and mushrooms were seasoned and cooked to perfection, the onions and peppers were caramelized, and a hefty portion of meat was on my plate. It was the comfort food that I needed. It was like Shepherds Pie on steroids!If you're a potato person (fries, tots, mashed, etc) you have got to come here.
