“I went to FireHouse Subs on Hallandale Beach Blvd and Biscayne on Saturday and I was thrilled. The food was good. The owner is the FIRST BLACK FEMALE owner in the franchise and we got to meet her and get to know her a bit. She was so pleasant and welcoming to all of the customers as the entered. The employees got our orders right and we're very accommodating. There's probably a Firehouse closer to me, but I'll be going to this one first!! Congratulations Ms. Tonika on your new establishment. “Stopped in on a whim one late afternoon because I was starving and wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the merguez sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The add-on options were extensive, and while I waited they even gave me two complimentary falafel balls. The place was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A true hidden gem of a hole-in-the-wall. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu“

“Leaving the Orange Bowl with my buddy who grew up near there and needing a good meal. I walk in with my Mike Evans Bucs Jersey, and they joke around with me about it. We ordered 1 large Philly and 1 large Pastrami sub to split. I can't tell you which one I liked more but they were awesome and the crew inside were like family laughing, joking and knowing local orders as they walked inside. I loved the experience from the moment I walked inside. Good people and good food, what else do you need? It was perfect weather so we were able to eat outside on their patio. I went in and told them how much I liked the subs, they appreciated it and continuing the jokes telling me I need a Phins Jersey lol it was what we needed before driving back to Central Florida. I hardly make it to Miami, I hope to be back, mean it! I wish I had one as I write this post. 5 🌟“

“Since I found this place I have gotten the turkey sub. This year I have changed my attitude and trying things new. I tried the steak bomb. I believe it's called. It's like steakum. I got everything on it. They could have included some more hot peppers cuz they were really good on white. Very good. Thanks for having the sign outside. That made me switch over from my turkey. “Great little sub shop! I saw it while on a walk and stopped by to get a meatball sub. Meatballs were juicy, sauce was flavorful, and the bread tasted fresh. I also got a cookie which was nice. I just went for the second time and the quality was consistent. It definitely gives family shop which i always prefer to buy from over large places and the workers were very friendly. I haven’t gotten a cold sub yet but i was looking at the produce and it looks fresh. Will be back to try the cold subs or Cesar wrap next!“

“Had lunch at McAlister Deli. Had the Ham and Cheese, HUSBAND AT THE French Dip with anjoui. The both were good. Although they could have been a little more generous with the cheese. They do give generous meat portions. Staff were actually friendly, helpful, and courteous. The tea was not too sweet and refillable. The restaurant itself was not a freezer which was a welcome change from most eateries We visit. This was definitely worth a return visit.“

“This is a perfect beach day lunch. The sandwiches are huge, and filled us up for the entire day. I had the tropical sandwich with mango and pineapple. There are squeeze bottles so that you can add your own vinegarette. There are a few stools to sit on while you eat. Service was good.“

Service is muted conducted more in grunts than words. The end result of the sandwich is exactly what you should expect going in. An ok sandwich for ever increasing prices.“

“This restaurant is located inside Walmart. Don’t let that stop you from checking it out. The price won’t take you to the cleaners. The food is well prepared. “Stopped by The Original Subcafe and wow! The food does not disappoint! I had the Philly #1 and my friends ordered the Cuban steak sandwich. We all shared the Cuban toast, which was the perfect start to the meal. Everything was absolutely delicious, you can really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The flavors are bold and authentic, exactly what you’d hope for from a Cuban spot.

I was treated very well by all of the staff. I ordered the Italian sub. It was far better than subs I've had elsewhere.
