Spring Creek Restaurant

Country and kinda quirky. This restaurant is locally owned and has been a classic for years. After going to Shell Point Beach, my friend guided me on some back roads to find this hidden gem. The decor on the inside is VERY Wakulla County - like you just walked into a barn where your grandfather hangs game on the wall. And I mean that in the best way possible. I was staying in the Lodge at Wakulla Springs for two nights and the first night we ate at the lodge. We wanted something different the second night. So... enter a map search of eateries and we come across this gem. It says reservations available so I called. Ben, the owner, asked how many and said he'd be able to seat us with no problems. So beautiful outside!! Quiet little place not far from the point. The food was good. Fresh made buttermilk ranch served in tall glass bottles for your salad. Herbed butter and crackers while you wait. Food was delicious!
