Carvel has always been one of my favorite ice cream shops. Growing up in New York, this was the go to place for ice cream lovers. I'm happy to have found one that's within a 15 minute drive from my house.Recently went and had my favorite, a small soft serve vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. The ice cream was thick and creamy and the cone was fresh, not stale which sometimes happens at ice cream stores. The staff is not very pleasant. The ice cream is just okay. The amount they share is ridiculous in comparison to the cup. Just make the cup smaller....but then they'd probably still not fill the cup. I feel cheated when I go to this location. It's like 75-80% full. Ice cream is not even filled to the brim. Also, why even use that cover?
