Had the fruit bowl, garlic Parmesan wings w/ fries, chicken tenders w/fries. It was all amazing. wings had a light smoke taste but did not over kill the garlic Parmesan. crispy but not to hard. chicken tenders were amazing... unique taste. Gotta go to try it. food was cooked fresh, hot when delivered to table. fries served in little fry basket. seasoned just right. not soggy. The Abalone offers friendly and prompt waitstaff, with commendable service from its staff. The food is generally great, highlighted by a delicious breakfast buffet complete with all the trimmings, including a made-to-order omelette station, pastries, and more. Guests have enjoyed fantastic meals like steak and fries and salmon plates. While some guests have experienced overcooked or tough steak, many find the food incredible. Compliments to the chef are common, and the drinks, especially cocktails, receive consistent praise. The restaurant is beautiful, with wonderful ocean views located in the Daytona Grande Oceanfront Resort. Guests appreciate the fresh and delicious food, as well as the stunning beach views. Valet parking is comped for diners. However, the indoor music can be too loud, and the lighting has been described as bright and abrasive. Outdoor seating can be windy and cold, but looks amazing, and many plan to return for that experience. Parking is limited to hotel guests, but self-parking is available near the Daytona pier. Overall, it is highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
