First time trying it. 5 stars all the way. Food outstanding. Service on point. Had fish and Chips with hush puppies and Cole slaw. Outstanding taste. Highly recommend.

Deland Fish House is a popular local seafood restaurant known for its delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant offers a variety of tasty dishes, such as a dozen oysters, Mahi Mahi, and grouper, all reasonably priced. Their tartar sauce and coconut and key lime pie cakes are not to be missed. Customers often praise the outstanding taste of the fish and chips, hush puppies, and scallops, which are just as good as Hull's. The food is consistently good, with the frog legs and hush puppies being especially noteworthy. The atmosphere is cozy and decorated with fish artwork and nautical items, creating a relaxing environment. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers a selection of wines. Recent reviews mention that the fried catfish and red potatoes are good, with the potatoes being a little plain but still enjoyable. Hush puppies are described as amazing, and the seafood is fresh, with some customers noting the display of fresh fish when entering. The staff is attentive, efficient, and friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. The LA Seafood gumbo is authentic and flavorful, and the lightly blackened Mahi Mahi lunch sandwich, which includes shrimp, is highly recommended. Overall, Deland Fish House remains a local seafood gem, offering great food and service in a welcoming setting.
