“Family owned and the food is the best around hands down. Food is always fresh and place is always clean. In the photos is Shrimp with Broccoli and (not on the menu) Wonton soup no broth Drizzle of oyster sauce and scallion. I have like to have as an appetizer. ?“

“I was a little hesitant given some of the reviews, especially of the General Tso, but it was delicious. I got the Phoenix & Dragon with chicken, shrimp, vegetables and Lo Mein. It was $4 more for the Lo Mein but it was a lot of food. And I got five large shrimp and a ton of chicken in the dinner. I also got egg roll (haven't had yet) and crabmeat rangoon (deliciously slightly sweet)“

“Best in the area, no doubt. Fresh, quality ingredients with large portions. Delivery for the second time. Food arrived hot & quickly. Chicken (large pieces, not overcooked) and Broccoli & Shrimp and Lobster sauce are 2 favorites. Egg rolls are not greasy & the wonton soup is the best I've had! I'll be back!“

“Love Mr Wok. Extensive menu, great food, cooked fresh on the spot, large main entree portions, very reasonably priced. For several dollars extra try any lo mein instead of rice as a side dish to go with your entree. We order to take out and they are extremely quick.“

“THANK YOU!!! ??? I had been getting my Chinese food fix at a different place. Tried your's tonight for the first time. You FILL the entire tray with all my main dish and put rice on the side (not per my request)
The *other place, same size tray, puts half main dish / half rice in this same size, essentially giving half main dish food. YOUR'S, I get so much MORE. That's wonderful because I can save some for another meal tomorrow.
You're the BEST! Curry is my favorite and now you're my favorite. ❤️“

“This is literally the only edible Chinese food in Venice. It’s not my all time favorite, because I come from NJ and NYC where the greatest Chinese takeout in the country is. But there are some pretty good things here, which is excellent compared to every other place in Venice. The wonton soup, boneless spareribs, sweet and sour pork, egg roll and general tso’s chicken are all good. I go here sometimes once a week and don’t get tired of it. The only things I haven’t liked from here are the bourbon chicken, which was really dry and needed a lot more sauce and the fried rice, I really don’t like the fried rice here. It’s the only place I’ve ever asked for white rice with a combination platter. The service is the fastest I have ever comes across. My food is always ready in 5 minutes without fail. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s 4 stars in Venice. In Sarasota, it would be more like 3 stars. Still good either way.“

“We tried it for the first time tonight and it was delicious. Have to give it 5 stars because the food was hot and tasted great. Best Wonton and Egg Drop soup we've had in a while. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was tasty and loaded with mushrooms. Husband loved the Szechuan Chicken ordered medium spicy and said it was perfect. We will definitely be back!!“

“This used to be my go-to place, but my last experience was bad. They only had brown rice as a side. My bowl was probably 80% rice, 10% broccoli, and maybe 10% chicken. I was so sick of rice that I threw half of it away. I came in again today (1/6/24) around 10:30, and my experience was so much different. The shorter lady who prepared my food was very friendly and apologized for my wait, even though my wait was mostly due to the 3 slow customers before me. She ended her break and quickly prepared my food. She allowed me to split my side between super greens and chow mein. I ordered the Teryaki chicken. I felt she was very generous with it. My bowl was more like 30-40% chicken, and the rest split between the sides. The chow mein tasted fine. The super greens were a tad greasy. I assume they make it on the same grill as some of the meat. I thought they tasted really good. If you're a healthy veggie purest, you might disagree. I wanted to leave a few dollars for the staff due to my positive experience, but I did not see a tip jar. They did have a charity jar. Thank you to the staff for the filling meal.“

“Love the food and the amazing service. The older gentleman that owns the place runs a tight ship. He’s always courteous and delivers good value for the money. Plus, they are one of the few Chinese restaurants in town that offers a poo poo platter. If you’re looking for a charming environment to eat in, this is not the place. This is more for people that are looking for quality Chinese food that’s either takeout or delivery.“

“Take-out restaurant on Mercado drive. The food is excellent. Service is very good. My favorite is General Tsao’s Chicken. It’s very close to NY Chinese food which is the best in the country. Everything I’ve had there has been very good.“

“Best Chinese food in the area! I’ve been living in this area for few years and I just found out this place. Family owned business with fresh food everyday. Their crab Rangoon is the best! I have also tried beef broccoli and noodles which are tasty too. Should have explored earlier and can’t wait to introduce this little restaurant to my friends!“
