“Our server Naomi was awesome! Very attentive and always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything's. Very friendly and welcoming. Been coming here for years our first time with her. Give her tons of prop cause she is doing a good job..“
“The food has been consistently good (specifically the rice, beans and salmon and guava and cheese) and if you sit in the restaurant the music is always good and the staff is nice, especially Marilyn! We’ve gotten her a few times and she’s the best! Thank you!!“
“My wife and I eat at Jerry's periodically. We had a stromboli delivered and the veggies weren't cooked right. We mentioned it the next day and they made it right. I really appreciate it this kind of service. Nobody's perfect but they gave us our money's worth with a great stromboli the next day.“
“Such a unique atmosphere and very pleasant wait staff! The food was very savory, and well prepared. All of those in my party ordered the filet, one ordered the filet with shrimp Oscar. We also ordered scalloped potatoes, the mashed potatoes and bacon, shrimp Mac N Cheese. I also ordered a side of pork belly with my filet. The filers were aged and had a very moist center. For drinks we ordered the Sage Cosmo and the Stinger. For dessert the creme brulee.“
“Girls night out with one of my favorite bff's. This place is a vibe, rustic with a comfortable laid back type atmosphere. Decore is tasteful and the soft lighting is a win. The oysters are very clean and fresh tasting. The drinks are well crafted and quite enjoyable. The bar is welcoming and the environment feels refreshing. Not a cheap date, but you definitely get what you pay for. Overall fire.Perfect for date night/s -n- Meet up with friends.I hear they have an happy hour ! - I'll update when I have the time to catch it : )Must try: Oysters. Muscles. Fried CauliflowerEnjoy !“
“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“
“One word describes our evening at Nonno's, magnificent. My friend and I were looking for an Orlando gem and we found the perfect place. The food was deliciously made with love and care. Every bite was so flavorful. We both sat there savoring our food. We began with the bread and pesto. The pesto was so good we even dipped our calamari in it. Our entrees were Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Lasagna. The flavors were soooo good. You could tell that fresh ingredients were used in the dishes. I cannot say enough how much we loved our food. The owner came to our table several times. He was so warm and welcoming. A perfect compliment to our meal. Definitely put Nonno's on your list.“
“Had a tasty bite at the yelp noir event. Salmon sushi hand roll. Very fresh salmon mixed with a voodoo sauce which has Heinz's 57, Worcester sauce honey, cayenne, curry, coriander, garlic Onion, chilli powder and liquid smoke all whipped up to make a flavor and perfect sauce to mix the salmon in. Delicious light bite. Liked that he took the time to speak and video him. Inviting table.“
“Afternoon an afternoon of hiking everyone in my group was very hungry. We all agreed on BBQ and arrived at exactly 3:00pm and the host informed us brunch had just finished. We agreed to proceed to back area known as the beer garden. The food menu is very limited which was disappointing to our very hungry group but the food itself was outstanding. Most of our group ordered the smash burger and it was very delicious and juicy. The French fries were well seasoned and cooked. I personally did not have a craft beer but everyone said they were all good.Disappointing to limit lunch menu so early but judging by the quality and flavor of the burgers, we will definitely be back to sample the rest when we are back in town. Outdoor atmosphere is great and relaxing.“
“Really great experience eating at Las Patronas on a Tuesday evening! Danielle was our server and expertly guided us through the specialties. The chips and salsa are homemade and had a unique delicate flavor. We had the homemade guacamole which was fresh and better than any we’ve had at the chain restaurants. The Las Patronas specialty was like fajitas with melted cheese and a mix of meats - again unique and superb! My wife had a margarita that was homemade and without the chemical taste of a mix that she said was one of the best she’s ever had, thanks Danielle! It is located in the corner of a strip mall and is hard to see at night, but I’m really glad we kept looking (thanks Google maps). We will definitely return and bring the rest of our family.“
“Good place with gluten free options and generally good food, oriented towards a healthy style or with controlled calories. Pleasant atmosphere, with little light at night. They have a special menu for celiacs, vegetarians and those allergic to lactose. Good and varied gluten-free options, based on meat and vegetables. Correct and friendly attention. Being a celiac, I find it negative that they did not have a gluten-free panera or gluten-free bread for the hamburger, which is an important and simple detail to solve.Dietary restrictions: It has a menu with gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options.“
“My family and I visited this establishment for my daughter's 16th birthday. Petra was quick, attentive, and most importantly pampered our princess on her special day. I was amazed at how delicious the lobster bisque was. We shared some of the coconut creme pie and that was perfect as well. I highly suggest the Signature Martini.“
“Wow their smoked salmon is the best salmon I have ever eaten! It’s so fresh, tender and full of flavor. I love salmon with crispy skin. I also purchase the salmon burgers, they were good but a bit pricey. I paid 17.00 for 2 small salmon burgers. Next time I will try other items, and I shall return for the smoked salmon for sure.“
“The only reason that the review wasn't five stars was because my porterhouse Steak came out looking like a million dollars, but something overcooked the tenderloin. the Strip side was perfect. Ed the owner wanted to do the entire steak over and that was just unnecessary as I eat the Strip side and either my wife but usually, I take it home and treat my son's wife on Sunday morning when they come with the Grandchildren to play. I told him the story and as we were leaving, he presented us with two filets. I am proud to have the Steak House in our neighborhood. The word is out so get your reservations early. their wait staff is special we had Janne, Renee' with a J and we are already instant friends.“
“Everything about this place was fantastic. It seemed super crowded and busy. It almost seemed short staff, the two or three servers that had on the floor were killing it. It was no pressure to them so kudos to them! Ultimately Diamond, our server is an absolute super star. I'd have her be my server any day of the week. The food and atmosphere was great.“
“Food tasted great but the staff didn't give us all the stuff we needed up front we had to ask for it. Then at the very end the in house photographer wanted to take pictures of us with empty plates and drinks. Timing should be worked on.“
“Great spot! Out of town for work and a date night. We did oysters, steak, scallops and some drinks. Dined at bar and service was impeccable! The red headed bartender was a doll. She bought me my glass of wine as I'd never dined there before. The butters with the bread were so yummy! This place was such a great treat and we will return!“
“3/3/24: Came to dine in with my two little foodies. I have to give them five stars rating.1. Superb customer service! My little man fell asleep in my arm the whole time. The server was so sweet. She tried to communicate to me in Chinese but I didn't understand a word she said. ? But she gestured to help me serve the hot food into the bowls and dishes for my daughter and me since my little man was in a deep sleep in my arms.2. I recommend the Beef Chow Fun with extra wide rice flat noodle stir fry with very tender beef. I requested no bean sprout and the kids love it.3. I recommend the há cảo. It has thin skin and well seasoned shrimp filling. Not too salty like some place makes it.4. I love the Eight Treasures clay pot. It has 8 proteins including tender chicken breast, beef, shrimp, scallop, calamari, cubed fried soft tofu, and shittake mushrooms with a brown flavorful sauce.5. I also recommend the Crab and Fishmaw Soup.9/3/22: I came for lunch with a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). My friend from Melbourne wanted to try this restaurant.Pros:1. Friendly superb customer service2. Clean and cozy interior design and layout3. Highly recommend the Stir Fry Water Spinach and Clams with Black Bean SauceWe ordered the following:Dim sum items: Fried shrimp balls - our two families of three generations all thought the fried shrimp balls were on the salty side of the scale. The other items were okay, nothing stands out. Both families prefer Ha Long Bay dim sum over this place. My kids love hac cao but they didn't like this version here. Shrimp paste is on the salty side.Stir fry water spinach - the grownups all enjoyed and recommend this dish.Stir fry flat noodle with beef - It was okay, the sauce didn't stand out, has a strong soy sauce flavor. Noodle was cooked just right for the kids to enjoy.Lobster with ginger scallion sauce - lobster meat was very airy and light. Just not the season for good meaty lobster. Kirin's Court in Plano, TX still makes it a lot better for me.Clams with Black Bean Sauce - Clams tasted fresh and the sauce has a well balance taste of sweetness and saltiness. All the adults love it! I highly recommend this if you like clams. I wanted to take the leftover sauce home but my friend's dad ate it all with steamed rice. Hahaha!Overall, it's a restaurant worth trying.Kid-friendliness: They have the typical kid-friendly dim sum items.“
“From the moment upon arriving service was very friendly and hospitable and atmosphere was inviting. The food was AMAZING.....I thought I Drive and Semoran was the only place to go....it was raining and it was worth the detour! Will definitely go again!“
“Delicious!!! That should be enough to get you to try this place, but I'll go on.... The atmosphere is super cool. It's like having dinner at someone's home. The staff make you feel like you've been coming for years. The quality of food is very good. The price point is on par with market rates.“
“Absolutely incredible! We chose this restaurant for our elopement brunch, and they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who showed genuine kindness throughout our celebration. We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend Luke’s for any special occasion!“
“Went for trivia night. First time at the college park location. Outstanding! It’s nice seeing an owner take pride and work alongside his employees. The food was delicious. Fun trivia. Just a great night had by all. Will definitely return. Keep up the great work.“
“Delicious! We live in a coastal town and hopes we would find something that was close to home - if you’re looking for the real deal this is it. The portions are very generous, the food came fast and was even better than we expected.I had the garlic noodles with shrimp. The “small plate” was not small. You get your monies worth. The shrimp were a good size - no little skinny shrimp here. If you’re looking for a taste of Cajun food - give it a go!“
“This is a really good Carrabba’s. The service was awesome, and the food came out hot, fast and tasted great. We sat in the bar area and the bartender/server really made the experience a good time. She had a great happy personality and was very attentive! Some of the best service we’ve had in the area.“
“Found this place a few months ago, and I've been coming every other week.Food is tasty, staff is very friendly and kind especially the curly haired young man!Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite that exceeds high quality!!“
“The birria is killer. The pastor burrito is killer. Great variety of margaritas. Suspiciously fast service. If someone asked me to recommend a Mexican restaurant that reminds them of grandma’s cooking, this would be it. Highly recommend 10/10.“
“First time ordering here & just happened to stop in. I went with the Family Combo (2 Lobster tails, 2 Crab legs, 30 Jumbo Shrimps, 1lb Crawfish, corn, sausages, potatoes, & eggs) with garlic butter & asked for extra spice.Let me tell you, the kids loved it! They like spicy food & it was just the right amount where it still has plenty of flavor. Staff was very friendly helping me with the options. They even added extra crawfish, eggs, corn, potatoes & a few clams.I'm definitely coming back to support this local business. They have good prices for the amount of food you receive.“
“After a long day with just a small soup for lunch, I stopped here. It was still that time before dinner, so I was the only person in there and was quickly seated. Went with the mummy, butterfly, and Boston rolls. The Boston was a basic one with shrimp, cucumber, lettuce, and rice ($7). The mummy and butterfly were bigger rolls and so tasty. The asparagus in the butterfly roll ($10) needed to be cooked a bit longer to give it a better chewing experience, so it was odd biting into it. The mummy had shrimp tempura, lobster salad, and seared pepper tuna ($14) and was drizzled in a mango and eel sauce.“
“First time visiting and for sure it won't be the last! This restaurant is by far on my Top 5 best Hot Pot locations in Orlando! The food is amazing, the variety is superb and the ambiance is so chill and relax since I didn't have to rush to pick my sauces or ingredients. We had Barbara as our server and she did an amazing job and such a knowledgeable person. We can't wait to be back and ask for her. Overall the food and the value you're getting is worth it!! Thank you for an amazing lunch for me and my family!!“
“Great fresh seafood coming from tx coast, I wanted real fresh seafood not a chain restaurant. I was not disappointed fried shrimp, corn nuggets, and fries were amazing. Definitely returning for more. By the way they sold out of fish this Saturday so get there before 2pm. Saw alot of sad customers because fish sold out. You have a customer for life from me.“
“I want to start off by saying that I walked into this restaurant 30 minutes before it closed. I know that I was the jerk in this situation. I had a bad day at work and really wanted to try raw oysters for the first time. The staff at Hook & Reel were so accommodating. The staff didn't make it feel like they were closing for one second. The customer service from my server, whose name was Drina (sorry, I dont know the spelling), was out of this world. The guest service that I received was classic Disney quality. The attention and experience we received were exemplary. It is hard to believe that I enjoyed myself this much when I walked in to a return 30 mins before we closed. Even if you don't like sea food, eat here, have fun, and enjoy the experience of what prioritizing customer service looks like.“
“After looking for 10 years, we finally found an Authentic Mexican Restaurant. I had the octopus & shrimp ceviche, it was fresh, tasty & pure perfection. My husband had the combo with a taco & tamales, the tamales reminded me of California. My brother had a huge carnitas burrito, he ate every morsel. Most would’ve eaten half. Next the house Margaritas I had 2! & to top it off we had the churros to end the meal. In short, go there, you will not be disappointed.“
“Great food but very expensive so be prepared to spend $100+ for a table of 4. The cinnamon french toast was absolutely amazing! In fact, it was the best french toast I’ve ever had and I will continue to dream about it for years to come! We felt rushed by the server to order our food when we were seeing a family member that we don’t see often and were trying to take a moment to catch up and I didn’t get my mimosa for nearly 30 minutes after I ordered it but other than that everything else was really good. I would definitely go back“
“Service was great, very attentive. First time and we got the shrimp and scallop dumplings and the pork and bamboo shoot dumplings, both really great, the pork and bamboo shoot dumplings were so juicy! Next we got shrimp fried rice and braised pork. The braised pork just melts in your mouth, absolutely recommend! They were also quick to clean off other tables, very clean establishment. On top of that, they packed up our leftovers at the end. Overall great food and great service! ?“
“Very small parking lot, def looks sketch from the front but once you get to the outside seating in the back it’s beautiful. Huge portions, great taste, and service was good just a tad slow but we were in no hurry. Enjoyed the view and sunshine.“
“The service is attentive, the dishes are exquisite, and you feel at home. This restaurant has a good Sichuan flavor and also provides light dishes. Children also like the store. The service staff are also very enthusiastic. They come over from time to time to ask us how we feel. The elderly at home are very satisfied with the environment in the store and it is comfortable. It is clean and tidy. It has the characteristics of living alone. It is very suitable for family gatherings and banquets with guests and friends. It is highly recommended and worth a visit!“
“As the Talking Heads said "same as it ever was"! I've been going here for more than 20 years. I give the service and the atmosphere 4 stars because it is for the type of place you are going to. Some "foodies" may complain yet as you'll learn, Lee and Rick's has been open for 50+ years and in that same building. No frills. More like a dive bar than a simple family restaurant. You can only get buckets of oysters at the oyster bar and seating can be limited. I always go there for buckets and realize that sometimes I may have to wait at busy times for a spot. There is plenty of table seating and there are options other than oysters but that's their bread and butter. The shuckers at the bar are always hit or miss personality wise yet good at what they do. All of that is understandable because they are doing their job. Tip accordingly for the service and more for great attitudes and conversations while you eat if it's quiet enough to hear yourself talk at night on the weekends.Keep in mind that a bucket of oysters is $40. With 2 or 3 people you're looking at about $90+ for two buckets and non-alcoholic beverages. On average we eat 2 to 3 buckets yet I've been there with three people and only had 2. The restaurant is never gouging you. Traditionally it will be the lowest price in town for oysters which are at market price. If 2 people are there to eat other options the price would be well under $90+.“
“Come here for the BEST SEAFOOD!! Service is great and the atmosphere is about as casual as you can get but the reason you should walk through the door is the food. It is EXCELLENT! We (Wife and I) highly recommend the King Crab and Shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly - we had a butter garlic sauce that was great (we asked for a little spicy and it was perfect.) We also asked for an extra potato. 10 out of 10 really. (This is NOT the place to dress up and order a martini or bourbon but it IS THE PLACE for fantastic Steamed or Boiled Seafood!!) DONT forget to add a $1 dollar bill to the wall with your name on it! (My wife and I are on there as Rebecca and Chuck).“
“This restaurant it’s the best SEA FOOD IN ORLANDO Local business owner and all sea food iits fresh catch daily…DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN ANOTHER FRANCHISE SEA FOOD RESTAURANT,This it’s the best in townAsk for the specialWEDNESDAY ITS OYSTER DAY$1 RAW OYSTER OR GRILL $2 eachCHARBROILED OYSTER ITS AMAZING“
“Discovered this Cuban cafe by accident and I am so glad we did. When even all of the customers were speaking Spanish, I knew I must be in the right place for some authentic Cuban food. I got the Authentic Cubano and a couple of beef empanadas. It was very delicious and I couldn't eat all of it, so I had some leftovers. I will definitely be back.“
“I could give Bahamas Breeze 10 ? stars because they never disappoint. They truly transport you to the Caribbean Islands with your senses: the atmosphere, the music, the food. You have to try their Beef Empanadas, the Paella, the Red Snapper with Mango/Avocado Salsa, the Churrasco. I could go on, but I have not sampled the whole menu. Our server Kahyen was wonderful. Bon Appetit!Parking: Many parking spots around restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramp on right side of entrance.“
“Visited there twice in December for the buffet and live jazz. To bad I have to travel because there is no entertainment like that where I am from. Compliment to the Chef and Monica and George for a beautiful place where you can have good eats and great entertainment. God Bless you for a great new year to come.“
“I love it there. Not only do I spend every birthday there I normally go there two times a month. I love the oysters and crab legs, and the Italian food is amazing also. I have never had a bad meal there. Service is all 10 plus. The guys at the oyster bar are quick to get your oysters to you and cocktails. Everyone is great. All 10 plus“
“The waitress was delightful, answering all of our questions and being attentive to our every desire. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon for having a late lunch, and we took our time visiting. We both had gyros after sharing a bowl of their fantastic lemon soup--an all-time favorite of mine.“
“A phenomenal, timeless dining experience. Had the fortune to dine here for a work dinner and was blown away by the quality of the food (especially the dry aged ribeye, tuna and Brussels sprout), as well as the exceptional service (our server Josh was amazing). Would highly recommend - a true Orlando “
“This place is “food from the heart” for sure. I had the special which was a huge, delicious burger, six wings, fries and a drink for under $20. So much food for so inexpensive these days was nice to see/eat. The service was impeccable. I can’t wait to return for breakfast!!“
“Went to Universal on the High School Band trip & it was my daughter’s 17th birthday. We had 1 hour until the charter bus left & we let our waiter know that. He was extremely friendly & accommodating. Not only did they make sure the food was brought out extremely fast but they also got the to go boxes & check to us fast. Also brought her dessert & sang to her getting the entire restaurant involved. All of this and we made it to the bus in time. Food was great as well. I highly recommend the stuffed shrimp. Thank y’all so very much. You made her birthday so very special.“
“The cakes here are always amazing. Every time I need a cake I just go and pick it up, they never disappoint. And all the designs are so pretty. They are always friendly and checkout is a breeze. All I can say is if you enjoy tres leches cake give them a try and if you are lactose intolerant like me, have a box of pills nearby to consume alongside the cake! You have been warned !“
“Antonios is a long-standing Maitland Florida Italian restaurant. they are very good about making dishes gluten-free as possible. The ambiance is cozy with tables downstairs set between displays of Italian wines and foods for sale. The upstairs is a bit more formal, and has some good views over Lake Lily.“
“It is a great place to eat. The food was delicious. I will definitely come back and recommend you stop by. The place is also very clean. Took some food home and my husband said, "That's the best potato soup I've ever eaten, where did you get that from? The collar greens were delicious. We have to go there for dinner one day." Yes, I agreed that was the best potato soup I've eaten.“
