Added bonus : there is a cool museum right outside the restaurant, in the airport terminal that you can check out as well!“

“Amazing spot! I live 45 mins away, but I'll definitely be back! Nicest staff I've ever met, owner was there busing tables, delivering drinks, talking to everyone in the place, so great! “Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.“

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

“We are reluctant to try Mexican places because In most of them, the food is unnecessarily spicy hot. I understand that most Mexicans like spicy hot food, but the food itself did not have to be spicy as I learned in Mexico.
This place was a really nice discovery for us. The food is perfectly seasoned, no heat added while cooking, just flavor.
We tried several plates and all of them were just perfect.
The only downside, no alcohol other than beer.

“I always go to Carrabba's when Kathleen works. She is very friendly, knows her customers and makes people feel welcome. She knows how to make drinks and always makes sure her customer's are taken care of. The service and food are both very good.“

“Me and my daughter want it to try this place a while a go we finally did and so disappointing!!:the sushi where literally made for kid that's how small they where and actually there not cheap . We also ordered the dynamite roll wich is one of the signatures and suppose to be one of their best one , but to start with the description doesn't have any egg and the topping was egg made literally in a microwave honestly I didn't even try it since I returned was 16.95 for it.Naaa... We had also ordered Booba teas and our order was to go and had to wait 20!-25 mnts ..And the boba where done in less than. 3 mnts so we ask the lady to with put them on a freezer , well she took the ice out and gave us in the same drink. which I didn't wasnt a qualuty costumer service..JUST LIKE that unbelievable...I can say the lady was very nice and Friendly but the management or owners must get in top of a sushi chef and also get a different strategy for to go orders... We end up buying sushi in other place!!!“

“We stumbled across this restaurant when we were out for a drive and stopped for lunch. The food and views were amazing. We went back later in the week on an evening and sat inside. Our bartender/server was so friendly and the food and atmosphere was fantastic. Can't wait until we visit next year!“
