“This place is a gem. Went there for the first time, and asked for suggestions. Haley ( hope i got it right), was so pleasant, helpful and very efficient. The had pork egg roll, and chicken pad thai. Both were delicious. I wasn't expecting great pad thai, but it was! Will definitely keep going to this place. PLEASE keep up the great cooking.“

“I was a little hesitant given some of the reviews, especially of the General Tso, but it was delicious. I got the Phoenix & Dragon with chicken, shrimp, vegetables and Lo Mein. It was $4 more for the Lo Mein but it was a lot of food. And I got five large shrimp and a ton of chicken in the dinner. I also got egg roll (haven't had yet) and crabmeat rangoon (deliciously slightly sweet)“

“THANK YOU!!! ??? I had been getting my Chinese food fix at a different place. Tried your's tonight for the first time. You FILL the entire tray with all my main dish and put rice on the side (not per my request)
The *other place, same size tray, puts half main dish / half rice in this same size, essentially giving half main dish food. YOUR'S, I get so much MORE. That's wonderful because I can save some for another meal tomorrow.
You're the BEST! Curry is my favorite and now you're my favorite. ❤️“

“This is literally the only edible Chinese food in Venice. It’s not my all time favorite, because I come from NJ and NYC where the greatest Chinese takeout in the country is. But there are some pretty good things here, which is excellent compared to every other place in Venice. The wonton soup, boneless spareribs, sweet and sour pork, egg roll and general tso’s chicken are all good. I go here sometimes once a week and don’t get tired of it. The only things I haven’t liked from here are the bourbon chicken, which was really dry and needed a lot more sauce and the fried rice, I really don’t like the fried rice here. It’s the only place I’ve ever asked for white rice with a combination platter. The service is the fastest I have ever comes across. My food is always ready in 5 minutes without fail. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s 4 stars in Venice. In Sarasota, it would be more like 3 stars. Still good either way.“

“Recently moved here and wanted some real great tasting Chinese food… this was the best I’ve ever had, and I’m from NY?Service, socializing, preparation, food packaging taste and of course prices…. Excellent ??Will definitely be going back, my daughter is a lover of their food now? I got vegetable fried rice, roast pork with veggies, orange chicken ??and chicken with broccoli. Kept it simple for my first time but very impressed.“

“This used to be my go-to place, but my last experience was bad. They only had brown rice as a side. My bowl was probably 80% rice, 10% broccoli, and maybe 10% chicken. I was so sick of rice that I threw half of it away. I came in again today (1/6/24) around 10:30, and my experience was so much different. The shorter lady who prepared my food was very friendly and apologized for my wait, even though my wait was mostly due to the 3 slow customers before me. She ended her break and quickly prepared my food. She allowed me to split my side between super greens and chow mein. I ordered the Teryaki chicken. I felt she was very generous with it. My bowl was more like 30-40% chicken, and the rest split between the sides. The chow mein tasted fine. The super greens were a tad greasy. I assume they make it on the same grill as some of the meat. I thought they tasted really good. If you're a healthy veggie purest, you might disagree. I wanted to leave a few dollars for the staff due to my positive experience, but I did not see a tip jar. They did have a charity jar. Thank you to the staff for the filling meal.“

“We tried it for the first time tonight and it was delicious. Have to give it 5 stars because the food was hot and tasted great. Best Wonton and Egg Drop soup we've had in a while. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was tasty and loaded with mushrooms. Husband loved the Szechuan Chicken ordered medium spicy and said it was perfect. We will definitely be back!!“

“Love the food and the amazing service. The older gentleman that owns the place runs a tight ship. He’s always courteous and delivers good value for the money. Plus, they are one of the few Chinese restaurants in town that offers a poo poo platter. If you’re looking for a charming environment to eat in, this is not the place. This is more for people that are looking for quality Chinese food that’s either takeout or delivery.“

“Take-out restaurant on Mercado drive. The food is excellent. Service is very good. My favorite is General Tsao’s Chicken. It’s very close to NY Chinese food which is the best in the country. Everything I’ve had there has been very good.“

“Our "usual" place was closed so we chose China Wokery...glad we did! Food was delivered more quickly than their estimate, was hot and we felt better than our "usual" place. Was also thrilled to find they had a Ding dish I always got up north, but was unable to find in Florida...and it was delicious! Will definitely order from them again“

“I've been going here for over a decade. Yesterday, I called the number from Google and placed an order. 5 mins later I was called back by a 713 area code saying the restaurant was requesting a credit card before they would start making the food. I declined and said I'll order at the restaurant. She sounded disappointed. I get to the restaurant and ask if that was true and they said no. He confirmed I called the right number. And said it hasn't happened to anyone else. My friend in cyber security said it's possible the call got intercepted from someone at the restaurant. So just beware. I called back again to see if the same "3rd" party would answer. I noticed I high pitch tone in the beginning of the call. I hung up, and the 713 area code called again asking if I'd like to place an order.“

“We love their food, friendly people, quick serve and good price
We bought 2 Teriyaki Lunch Set, Shrimp and Chicken and also Lomein Chicken Noodle. Usually came for some lomein but this time we tried teriyaki lunch set. The teriyaki sets came with vegetables egg rolls, sushi, miso soup, rice, salad and ginger pickles... The teriyaki surprisingly tasted very good like the one I used to have in a local restaurant in Japan, the salads use original style ginger dressing and the miso soup has umami taste, hot and yummy.. highly recommended“

“I love this place! There is a wide variety of food, including ripe pineapple, fresh cherries, and cooked plantains! They also have the BEST ice cream in town! The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. The new owners are making the restaurant even better, so enjoy!“

“Pretty good Chinese food. The beef in beef and broccoli tastes good, and is not chewy. Prices have really gone up though (as they have at other restaurants as well).
Interesting - there is an old, authentic lobster boat with lobster catching crates next to Pings.
Parking: Easy to park.“
