“I’m over here emotional and was just thinking about how grateful I am for so many incredible things in my life and the way God is just working through me to push me into the woman that I am meant to become… Then I started thinking about how God talked to me and led me to Grumpy’s Middleburg location last Friday, December 6th. What I did not know, is that God leading me there would answer all of my prayers and instantly transform my life. After their wonderful waitress (I believe her name was Ashley) told my husband and I of the daily specials, I decided on their blueberry cheesecake waffle and he got the surf and turf omelette (while also incredibly delicious, we aren’t here to talk about that). Now, it’s important that I note that I like waffles, but my go to is a classic crisp yet fluffy flavorful French toast, which is my favorite breakfast there (I literally always order it… I’m a creature of habit). Well, at least I thought I was. That is, until this life changing waffle shifted my entire perspective on who I truly am at heart… A CERTIFIED BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE WAFFLE FANATIC. 😭😭 As I lay here sad and heartbroken listening to the rain pound on my window sill, I am unable to focus on studying for my last final (I graduate on Friday!!), because I am reminded of the heartbreaking reality that this world altering waffle was just a special, and I may never experience another amazing waffle like that again in my life. Not my wonderful husband, nor my amazing children can replicate the immense joy I felt on first bite… 😭😭💔 That cheesecake lifted my spirit in a way only it could do, through Gods mercy and grace. It spoke to my soul stronger and wiser than any worship song I’ve ever heard. It washed away my sins immediately on request and made me anew. I’m fully convinced that this waffle could bring world peace and prosperity for all. The thought of never experiencing it again is a reality I may have to face. I just have to find solace in knowing that while I never thought I’d get to experience Heaven in my lifetime, on that beautiful sunny Friday morning in December 2024, I did just that, here on earth. My only regret is that I did not resist immediate temptation, and stop to take a picture of that magnificent miracle before I dug deep in and devoured it (there goes one of those pesky sins that I mentioned it washed away) along with my husband (goodness gracious, if sharing MY miracle with my husband doesn’t show true unconditional love, I’m clueless as to what does… you’re welcome, honey! 😉)! Now, Grumpy’s deserves all of their FLOURS plus more, so that they can continue to do Gods work and bless the community through their angelic creations. Thank you for all that you do to change lives one miraculous meal at a time. You truly have a customer for life who is eternally grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. 🙌🏾🙌🏾😂😂😭❤️ **Not to mention, the customer service was beyond exceptional, as it always is!** And P.S. Grumpy’s… please run it back (preferably this Friday so I can have it for my graduation breakfast😉)! The thought of never experiencing this perfect combination again is absolutely devastating. 💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔“

“My new favorite place to pick up breakfast! It's hard to find anything unique when it comes to breakfast. This place is it. Each time I go in, I want to try something different. I hope they grow more stores in the area, because if I didn't have to drive 16 miles round trip to eat there, I would go more often!“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“I really enjoy coming here. Whenever I can, I’ll eat breakfast here and sometimes lunch as breakfast. Everybody is nice and engaging and I appreciate that as a customer. Five star rating all around. Come here for breakfast you won’t be disappointed. However, if there’s something wrong, just let them know and they’ll try to make it right.“

“Ms. Rachel was excellent. She was friendly and humorous. I came in and I was with a party of 10 and she was on point with the drinks & made sure everyone’s order was accurate. Her customer service is wonderful and she is very nice lady. I visit this IHOP on blanding in Orange Park often and she hooked us up.“

“Heart-stoppingly good.
No, seriously — I could feel my arteries clogging… and I didn’t mind one bit. Now I finally get what people mean when they say, “Well, at least he died happy.”
I ordered The Dime (biscuits and gravy with fried chicken), and it was next-level. Comfort food perfection. Rich, savory, indulgent — basically the culinary equivalent of soft-core food porn.
Even the fresh-squeezed OJ was amazing. Apparently, October oranges hit different, and my taste buds agree.
The only sad part? My family’s off in Italy, and they have no idea what they’re missing. Maple Street over Milan any day.
If this was my last meal on earth, I’d go out smiling.“
