“The food was excellent. It was the best egg, bacon burrito I have ever has. The bacon was perfectly crisp and the tortilla was toasted to perfection. Vaughn was so friendly and helpful. He had the best smile. He was so sweet. The bathroom was impeccable. Ordering was so easy and the food came out fresh, hot, and quick.“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“We always come here and everytime we do we have the sweetest and most heart warming servers. Shirmine is our family’s favorite she always greets us and makes sure we have everything in order and makes us laugh. Place is always clean and managers walk around making sure everyone is doing good.“

“2026 Update:
This location is beginning to disappoint. The joyful greeting and attentive service that was once my favorite part of this chain has diminished. Nothing like being completely ignored by staff when you're waiting at the counter to completely ruin an experience. Went to Einstein down the road and had a great breakfast.
This place is amazing! I love the food and I’m so happy that it’s not just some boring run of the mill American diner. I’m sick of those. This place? The food has actual flavor and the mimosas are delicious. The biscuits are the fluffiest I’ve ever had. I got their squawking goat before peppy jelly and goat cheese are my favorite snack combos. The sandwich did not disappoint. I will be back.“
