You are met with open arms and a smile here! We first bought a super bowl, which was really good, so we came back to try the gyros—which was also fantastic. The only negative thing is that we're only here on vacation, so we probably won't be back anytime soon :)

“A little bit of Jamaica in South Dade. It is hidden back by the railroad tracks, west of Krome in a warehouse building in Florida City. I ordered the ackee & saltfish with food as take out. I had to wait while they prepped it. It was very tasty. Not a lot of ackee, but that is to be understood. Still tasty.
While I was waiting, there was a steady stream of customers coming in. People were ordering Ox Tail, Jerk Pork, and the soup of the day Pumpkin Beef. I wanted to also try the Pumpkin Beef Soup, available only on Saturday, but as it was almost 5:00pm most of it was already gone.
Regae music was playing while the chef and the two people taking care of the customers were working. The facility is nothing fancy, selling food that tastes homemade and carrying goods from Jamaica. The people are friendly and the prices seem to be on point with other Jamaican restaurants in South Florida.
You can eat there, as there are a few tables and a couple of customers were enjoying their meal when I got there. I chose to take my food home. I am sure I will be going back to try other food. The menu is pretty much the same each day, with daily special soups and entrees. Bonus, they have vegetarian options for the entrees.“

“We visited Amistad Grill this morning for breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were greeted and seated promptly. Started with a delicious cup of espresso. Very good and creamy. I went with the Steak and Eggs Skillet. Delicious and filling. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!“

The restaurant has that cozy, vibrant feel that makes you settle in right away, and the menu delivers all the comforting Tex‑Mex favorites — flavorful, hearty, and clearly made with care. Every dish came out fresh and satisfying, exactly what you hope for when you’re craving Tex‑Mex done right.
Our server, Victor, made the experience even better. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the meal. His timing was perfect, his recommendations were spot‑on, and he brought a great energy to the table. Service like his really elevates the whole visit.
Casita Tejas is absolutely worth stopping by if you want delicious Tex‑Mex and standout service — and Victor is a big part of what makes the experience memorable.“

“Swung by this Vietnamese restaraunt for a banh mi and the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside soft inside the grilled pork was savory sweet and stacked with fresh herbs, I been tellin all my freinds about this gem and im definately comin back for the vermicelli bowl next time.“

“I absolutely love smoothie spot in Cutler Bay. I go there almost every night after I work out. The employees are super nice and treat you like family. My favorites are Rosario and Leydi. Rosario knows exactly what I want and begins to make my smoothie for me immediately. They make it perfect every time. I have had the wraps, bowls and smoothies, and they are all amazing. Everything is made with clean ingredients. I highly recommend smoothie spot if you are looking for a delicious nutritional protein smoothie or something delicious and healthy to eat.“

“We "ended up" here while looking for pizza. We didn't get pizza because once the menu was in front of us and our waiter ready to help, we ended up with pasta! pro tip, if a risotto is on the fresh-made menu, get it. GET IT.“

“pizza was great, been there several times. very disappointed they were short staff so took a while to get greeted and sat. the pizza was served fast. waitress was pleasant and friendly. was upset most staff did not wear masks. the parking lot no fault of restaurant had almost no parking lot lights, flooded from rain. the restaurants bathroom with one toilet had no toilet tissue, at 9pm. I guess my experience was so so, I would try them again.“
