“We visited Amistad Grill this morning for breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were greeted and seated promptly. Started with a delicious cup of espresso. Very good and creamy. I went with the Steak and Eggs Skillet. Delicious and filling. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!“
“Cool little spot right before the Everglades National Park. Tons of fresh and healthy snacks made right in front of you or prepackaged. Jarred food, produce, fresh shakes, the whole 9. On top of that, they have a small zoo of Sulcata Tortoises, cows, Emu’s, sliders, goats, etc. We went right after the Glades so they were closing and I’m sure we didn’t get the full experience but this is a must do before or after visiting the park.“

“Our server today was exceptional across all categories. Anyah greeted us with warmth, gave us today's special and allowed opportunities for us to decide. Our soup and sald quickly came out. Everything was hot and delicious. A young lady from the kitchen assisted Anyah with our entrees and she was very friendly and professional as well. As we proceed to conclude our meals, we paid and got up towards the door. We noticed something different that we haven't seen a while. We noticed every employee with a smile and truly grateful to be working. I want to give a shoutout to the manager Eddie Hernandez as this starts from the top. Employees are friendly, they all had smiles and enjoying in providing customers service. This needs to be recognized. Thank you Eddie, you are managing a great team from the host to the kitchen!“

Our table have the chipotle burrito, cheese enchiladas with red sauce, chicken enchiladas with red sauce and the kids quesadilla with cheese. All excellent.“

“Alan, Very welcoming to start. Relax ambience. Prices were up there. Did not expect much. Once I had a taste, the price for the food we order seemed to be low in comparison with the quality of the food, which it was excellent. My wife and I cook and this was definitely a taste of a home cook meal.“

“If you’re an elote lover, this place is a must! 🌽 Everything is always fresh and delicious. I tried the crunch wrap and it was so flavorful, and the lemonade was super refreshing perfect combo.
The service really stands out too. The ladies there are always so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. The place itself is very clean, colorful, and has such a fun vibe.
I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. Definitely one of my go to spots!“

“We "ended up" here while looking for pizza. We didn't get pizza because once the menu was in front of us and our waiter ready to help, we ended up with pasta! pro tip, if a risotto is on the fresh-made menu, get it. GET IT.“

“pizza was great, been there several times. very disappointed they were short staff so took a while to get greeted and sat. the pizza was served fast. waitress was pleasant and friendly. was upset most staff did not wear masks. the parking lot no fault of restaurant had almost no parking lot lights, flooded from rain. the restaurants bathroom with one toilet had no toilet tissue, at 9pm. I guess my experience was so so, I would try them again.“

“Short story: Good vibe; good food; and one weird thing.
Food. The food was good. We ordered Salmon and Mahi Mahi; I was hoping that the fish was fresh catch and stuff like that; I'm guessing it probably isn't. My side-salad was tremendously better than I was expecting, a legitimate salad with fresh veggies and good dressing. The coleslaw did not taste good and the my wife guessed that her green beans were canned. The desserts, Key Lime Pie and Reece's Pie were solid; we enjoyed the Key Lime Pie the most.
Atmosphere. The spot is killer. It is a marina bar vibe and we loved it. You get to sit at sunset with beautiful views.
The Staff. There was a ton of staff servicing the restaurant. We were able to order quickly; the food came out quickly; and the waiter was regularly looping around checking on us; can't ask for much more.
One Weird Thing. The weird thing was the credit card fee on top of our bill which was about 5% which seems extravagant. Tbh, it kinda spoiled the vibe because (1) it seems more than they're actually being charged and (2) they need to bake that in the price.
Black Point Ocean Grill is a solid local spot and we will be back, we might plan to be cash though, until they can get their act together.“
