“We visited Amistad Grill this morning for breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were greeted and seated promptly. Started with a delicious cup of espresso. Very good and creamy. I went with the Steak and Eggs Skillet. Delicious and filling. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!“

“Our server today was exceptional across all categories. Anyah greeted us with warmth, gave us today's special and allowed opportunities for us to decide. Our soup and sald quickly came out. Everything was hot and delicious. A young lady from the kitchen assisted Anyah with our entrees and she was very friendly and professional as well. As we proceed to conclude our meals, we paid and got up towards the door. We noticed something different that we haven't seen a while. We noticed every employee with a smile and truly grateful to be working. I want to give a shoutout to the manager Eddie Hernandez as this starts from the top. Employees are friendly, they all had smiles and enjoying in providing customers service. This needs to be recognized. Thank you Eddie, you are managing a great team from the host to the kitchen!“

“I have been going there for about 2 years. I have always enjoyed the food, but today the pho broth was extremely salty to the point that I couldn't eat it. The owner or manager was upset with me and told me they didn't put salt in their soup. He was extremely rude towards me. He offered to give me another meal, but I decided my time and money was not worth it. You lost a loyal customer because of how terrible your service is.“

“Elote Lovers is best suited for takeout or a quick pickup, making it a convenient option when you’re on the go or don’t have much time to dine in. The food is consistently delicious, with bold flavors that really stand out, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations. Seating is quite limited, so it’s not the ideal spot if you’re looking to sit and stay for a while or enjoy a long, relaxed meal.
I definitely recommend trying their lemonade and tacos—they’re both really good, refreshing, and worth ordering every time you visit. The menu offers a nice variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving something light or more filling. Overall, Elote Lovers is a great choice for tasty food on the go, and I would definitely come back again whenever I’m in the mood for something quick, flavorful, and satisfying.“

“We "ended up" here while looking for pizza. We didn't get pizza because once the menu was in front of us and our waiter ready to help, we ended up with pasta! pro tip, if a risotto is on the fresh-made menu, get it. GET IT.“

“pizza was great, been there several times. very disappointed they were short staff so took a while to get greeted and sat. the pizza was served fast. waitress was pleasant and friendly. was upset most staff did not wear masks. the parking lot no fault of restaurant had almost no parking lot lights, flooded from rain. the restaurants bathroom with one toilet had no toilet tissue, at 9pm. I guess my experience was so so, I would try them again.“

“Short story: Good vibe; good food; and one weird thing.
Food. The food was good. We ordered Salmon and Mahi Mahi; I was hoping that the fish was fresh catch and stuff like that; I'm guessing it probably isn't. My side-salad was tremendously better than I was expecting, a legitimate salad with fresh veggies and good dressing. The coleslaw did not taste good and the my wife guessed that her green beans were canned. The desserts, Key Lime Pie and Reece's Pie were solid; we enjoyed the Key Lime Pie the most.
Atmosphere. The spot is killer. It is a marina bar vibe and we loved it. You get to sit at sunset with beautiful views.
The Staff. There was a ton of staff servicing the restaurant. We were able to order quickly; the food came out quickly; and the waiter was regularly looping around checking on us; can't ask for much more.
One Weird Thing. The weird thing was the credit card fee on top of our bill which was about 5% which seems extravagant. Tbh, it kinda spoiled the vibe because (1) it seems more than they're actually being charged and (2) they need to bake that in the price.
Black Point Ocean Grill is a solid local spot and we will be back, we might plan to be cash though, until they can get their act together.“
