“Service and food just ok. The waiter had an assistant helping him so I thought service would be great, but it was just ok. Waters were not filled when low and we had to ask. My husband ordered a soda refill that took quite a while for them to bring him. When we told them we had a time constraint they did try to speed up the service, but they were not that nice about it. The food was just ok. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Won ton soup was good. Served in very large bowls but only filled about a third of the way. Very small won tons. Fried rice was good with lots of pork. The crispy steak was disappointing. The steak was a bit fatty and hard to chew. The crispy coating was a nice touch. The sweet and sour chicken was large pieces that were heavily breaded. I couldn't finish mine...too much breading and not enough chicken in my opinion. The salmon was tasty. Not that large of a portion for the cost. Overall my experience was a bit disappointing. Expensive and vegetables were scarce. One dish came with a few stalks of broccoli. Maybe we ordered things that didn't have a lot of vegetables but normally more veggies are served with asian food. Our table was in a corner and it was a bit dark. Also my decorative plate had a cherry stem stuck to it and when I told the waiter he sort of blew it off saying he was going to clear those plates anyway because they are just for decoration.“

“Just visited my BFF of 40 years and we learned Lotus has moved as we always dined here when they were in Wilton Manors. OMG…it’s better than ever!! We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! Lotus is also very LGBTQ friendly…just as they were in Wilton Manors. Highly recommend!!!! Five stars!!“

“I found nothing wrong with the place, perhaps issues trying to order because of accent and all, but it shouldn't be a problem if you are patient enough. Food is great, absolutely, amazing matter of fact, so is the service. Had no issue with them, they are all kind and welcoming. You usually don't see a horde of people inside, maybe a few waiting for their meals, so its a very quiet and comfortable place. I'd reccomend it. There is a family combo that cost us about less than 40, which is pretty generous if you ask me, fed my family of four and we couldn't even finish it.“
“Soup dumplings were good. Also had the pan fried dumplings which were good but on the pricier side.
The noodles with brown sauce in my opinion was a bit too much on the salty side. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup while tasting good, had too few noodles to justify the price.“

“The 1hr drive was defiantly worth it! Amazing food. Everything was delicious. The only suck part is there is nowhere to sit and eat. But that was ok, we ate on our way home. Defiantly recommend. The TikTok hype is REAL! We ordered, fries, chicken wings, krab Rangoon, general tso chicken, special gried rice, fried chicken dumplings, egg rolls & lord the LEMONADE & Ice tea mix, I wish I would’ve known, I would’ve ordered like 3 extra to go! AMAZING Chinese food! Best hand down! Defiantly will make my way back! Ate so fast forgot to take a picture!“

“We just moved to the area and was hoping to find a really good Chinese spot and found one. I was very impressed with the food, customer service and the atmosphere. I ordered by phone and the young lady I ordered with was very courteous. Also, as soon as you walk in their establishment the aroma tells you this food is going to be good. Your greeted by the wonderful lady with the great personality who took my order over the phone. She's so friendly and personable, something you rarely don't see in the fast food industry anymore. My Husband and I were extremely impressed and will make Sunrise Chinese our go to spot and you should as well.“

“Hong Kong Tokyo is surprisingly one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. I'm not sure if people in South Florida just don't know what good Chinese food is, but coming from the Washington, D.C. area where there is great Chinese, this is the best I've found here yet—it reminds me of home. I’m surprised it only has 4 stars.
It's a classic hole-in-the-wall dive for take-out only, with no interior seating and nothing fancy to look at inside. But the food delivers: standout dishes like the House Triple Delight and Shrimp Lo Mein are excellent. Nothing I've ordered has disappointed. The price is great to feed your family and the food is ready in about 15-20min.
Reliable spot for authentic take-out. 5 stars.“

“Surprised after all of the Chinese food places I've tried, I've found one that was really good! Actually it was on point. Quality of food 100%, service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely come back. I got the boneless spareribs dinner with Wonton soup, honey garlic nugget dinner and an extra eggroll. All fantastic thank God. Well done. Thank you for a great meal.“

“I love this restaurant. I have been going here for many yrs. The food is always very good.. A friend and I went to every Chinese restaurant from Miami to Polk county and this restaurant made our top #1. Our only one because we will always continue to get food here and we don’t get charged 1.00$ for extra sauce.“

“We've been going to Ruby Chen's for YEARS! Never ever ever disappointed! Family owned and run! Thank you! I remember back in the late 80's early 90's when you helped St. Jerome at their carnival!“

“Best Chinese food in all of South Florida , there's no comparison hands down. some of the best comfort food for me when I'm craving the best. Family owned and operated, some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I probably go there twice a week they're like family.. my favorite is the Beijing beef in the bourbon chicken. This is a must for any Chinese food enthusiasts out there, they are totally different than the mainstream restaurants around town best prices as well with enough food that feeds me all day and breakfast in the morning.“

“Nice friendly young lady. Food was excellent! We had the beef and broccoli, chicken chow Mein and the orange chicken. Each combination came with a delicious pork eggroll, pork fried rice and your choice of egg drop or wonton soup. Presentation was beautiful and the flavor of the food FANTASTIC! We are a new and forever customer.“

“Okay so they're different, and they do things different... And that actually a great thing!
A family member of mine have them them rave reviews some time back, and they weren't exaggerating...AT ALL!! Great pricing for what you're getting, and, not only that, but: FIRST CHINESE FOOD I ATE, AND DIDN'T HAVE TO USE ANY SOY OR DUCK SAUCE WHATSOEVER!!!
Flavor impeccable, service was sweet, food was done before I could write this review.
I'll be back. I'm the meantime: gO and enjoy [anything] one the menu...
...You'll be happy you stopped by!“

“I’ve eaten Chinese takeout from here across the US all the way to SoCal. This place is phenomenal! Even tho I ordered only 20mins til close (I know I’m horrible ?) the food was fresh and no one gave me an attitude like most places do right before closing.I got something simple, chicken lo mein dinner combo with pork fried rice and egg drop soup. The meat was moist and flavorful, the noodles were saucy and savory, the fried rice was dense but still fluffy. The pork egg roll was the best I’ve had in years! Only reason I gave 4 stars for food is because the spring roll was not the best and the portion of soup was tiny.“

“Decent American Chinese food restaurant. The chicken wings were well done and crispy. The fried rice tastes smoky not really fried and had very few pieces of pork to be called a pork fried rice. The Crab Rangoon were a little bit on the sweet side for my liking. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy on the Broward side. The service was good, speedy and answered my question professionally.“
