“We are on a girls weekend trip, we came across Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream on our first night and it was so delicious that we had to go back on our second night. Our dinner plans ran over and we pulled in to Pinocchio's at 9:02pm. We were greeted by the sweetest employees Maddy & Talon. They let the five of us in and served us with a smile! We were in and out in less than 5 or so minutes. They made our night!! We made sure to tip well! We likely will go back for our third and final night on the island!“

“This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“

“I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! “terrible owner who thinks they can call their customers liars when they get sick off of their food. CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... YOU GOT SOMEONE SICK! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“If I could give this place more stars, I absolutely would. My family and I decided to eat at Nino‘s last night for my husband‘s birthday 9/11. The place is so welcoming our waiter Pauly was absolutely amazing. He was on point with everything and my kids adored him. we are originally from the park but haven’t eaten at Nino’s in a few years and it’s still the same. We plan to eat here often keep up the good work.“

“If you’ve never been here, keep in mind, the prices on the website are different than the prices on the menu in the restaurant. Waitress said “you can’t go by the online prices”…….well then you need to change them then & they shouldn’t be advertised if it’s not the actual price….IJS. They really need to fix that & if they don’t fix it, they should honor the prices they are advertising 🤷🏻‍♀️“
