We stopped by to buy some Italian cookies to bring to a family dinner, but instead we were pleasantly surprised to be able to have fresh cannoli hand made for us by the “Sweet Princess” of Amore. “Found Barunch via The Festival of Lights. They did beautiful takeout boxes for us, and the Chopped Cheese and Chicken Caesar Wrap were both excellent! We have since dined in, and another wonderful experience. Only wish that they were open longer! :)“

“I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! Thanks to Maureen Cruz for the recommendations!“

“My husband and I came in for a fresh seafood dinner and this restaurant did not disappoint. Our waiter, Justin, was incredible from start to finish. His extensive knowledge of the menu offerings coupled with his exuberance had us smiling and laughing like we were speaking with an old friend. We decided to create our own tasting of sorts from the fine selections of fresh seafood. Our meal included the NOLA Oysters which were baked and served with seasoned butter, the crab cake appetizer which was serving of lump crab held together by a crispy sear and no filler, as well as the chilled seafood tower. Every bite from start to finish was delectable. We had crab, lobster, tuna tartar, shrimp and oysters. Each bite was more spectacular than the previous as we sampled each offering. We have already decided the next time we are in town that this restaurant will be a must! 5 Stars out of 5!!“

“We had a reservation last night on arrival they said they had to cancel because the computer was down and could not take credit cards. We said we had cash, they then said it could be a long wait before we would be served as kitchen also relied on the computer. We took our chances went in and waited, eventually had a great meal ! Perseverance is omnipotent , from a mixed race party.“

“I had the pleasure of picking up a large catering order for a wedding, and the experience was outstanding! The General Manager was incredibly helpful, professional, and made sure everything was organized and ready on time. The entire staff was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to make the pickup smooth and stress-free.
Everything was prepared on time, packed well, and ready to go exactly as promised. Excellent customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend them for wedding catering and special events!“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“If you’ve never been here, keep in mind, the prices on the website are different than the prices on the menu in the restaurant. Waitress said “you can’t go by the online prices”…….well then you need to change them then & they shouldn’t be advertised if it’s not the actual price….IJS. They really need to fix that & if they don’t fix it, they should honor the prices they are advertising 🤷🏻♀️“

“Food and service were amazing. Pasta made fresh in house to order, thus the longer wait time. No boxed pasta here and this is authentic Italian fare. Had homemade lobster ravioli from scratch , and you can definitely taste the difference, Great..“
“Im a frequent flyer of DeRomos. I went to the market today for a few things and as usual I stopped at the dessert cases. I chose a slice of salted caramel cheesecake, which is one I hadn’t seen before. When I say never stop making this cheesecake I mean for the love of god never stop making this cheesecake! Hands down the best I have ever had in my life, no exaggeration! This needs to be a full time item on your menu including in the restaurant.“

“Lunch Specials (up to 4:00 pm) are wonderful ♥️ and tasty 😋. We had a pizza with salad, delicious, for each person not even $12, lots of fresh warm bread wit olive oil/ herbs as a free Appetizer. Best server, very sweet and kind. We are definitely recommend California Pizza Kitchen and will come back.“

“I was there with 3 friends on 9/10/22. One of the best meals ever! Our server, Antonio, was wonderful. He took great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting with the best view of the beach. Wish I could eat there every night, and have Antonio serve us. Grade A“
