“The food truck comes to our neighborhood every so often on Friday evening and we enjoy being able to have family dinner at the neighborhood center. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone downhill over the course of the year we have lived here. Tonight, I ordered the loaded Pulled Pork potato....the potato is just cut in half (not fluffed up) with pork and shredded cheese thrown in the middle. The potato is a brown/tan color and it is not even cooked completely- meaning I can not eat it. The entire thing is Luke warm at best....What a giant disappointment and a waste of $12. My kids got the nachos and they also were a disappointment . I really hope they get someone to work the truck that actually takes pride in the food they are serving.“

“Love this place! We go five days a week for breakfast. They have amazing servers a wonderful owner and the food is perfect. Very fresh eggs homemade biscuits and I’ve never had service without a smile! By far my vote for the best breakfast in Jacksonville if you want a nice diner home-cooked meal feel! We have literally stopped going to other places for breakfast and only come here. Ask for Bailey I promise you won’t be disappointed.!“

“It’s a BBQ restaurant. No frills and done right. Eaten at a few of the local stores. They’re friendly and service is fast. Beer is ice cold. Pulled pork had lots of flavor. Wish the ribs were a bit bigger, but still good. The chicken wings are awesome. Please look at adding your own version of Alabama white. Would really amp up the flavor of those wings.“

“So happy we decided to give Bono's a try. I couldn’t decide what to eat first and what to eat last. The Brunswick stew...ummmm! The brisket....ummmmm! The turkey....ummmmm! Everything was on point. Moist, perfectly seasoned, tender, just right!

“My work brought it in catered. There was brisket, sausage, mac n cheese, coleslaw and beans. I read reviews prior to making my plate. I put a little of everything on my plate to try. Everything was good. Maybe not outstanding, but good. Although, the beans do taste like they're just Bush beans from a can.“

“Having visited this location after I moved to Green Cove 3 years ago, I never came back. Place was dark dirty and just not the quality food I was used to. Flash forward 3 years, came again with my brother and the place was all new. Clean, bright, refreshing. Came in again today and the same bright and cheery atmosphere. Phil was at the bar cleaning and organizing and was quick to seat me and get me what I needed. Will happily return again and again! Great job to the new owners!“

“While staying at the Wyndham Garden hotel, my friend and I went down to the red Gill bistro for an appetizer and a drink. Charlie, the bartender is awesome. He makes classic cocktails and has some signature cocktails of his own. I highly recommend it. In fact, we’re going there tonight. We went there last night and we went there the first night we came in.“

“We had a wonderful experience! Everything was absolutely perfect. It was very decently priced and worth every penny. Our server Nicole was super kind and attentive and the food was just as excellent. We ordered burgers, chicken sandwhiches and the steak. All of our food was cooked to perfection and our drinks never got to be empty. The environment wasn't too loud and everything was really clean. If I could give them more stars I would. I've eaten at a TON of Chinese restaurants and you're in luck if you're able to get food from here. Every dish I've had is a perfect representation! One last thing I must point out, this place, BY FAR, has the BEST pork fried wontons I've ever had. I included a couple of photos. You can see perfection in the crispy wonton bubbles. “I ordered online, it said 15 mins, but 20-25 mins. So I didn't eat in, but it hasn't changed inside a long time. My rating is because the chicken and ribs are over cooked to me. My wife likes Bono's I can take it or leave it. The Ribs & Chicken just aren't tender and no real taste. Not awful, not stellar either.“

“I hadn't been to Longhorns in years. I will surprised how well the food was prepared and how well the food tasted. I was seated after 10pm and the restaurant was still full with customers. Longhorns has discovered a system that works and they stick to what works for them. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the entire family.“
