“I ordered the brisket with 2 sides. Excellent cut of meat, very moist & a generous portion. Bake beans were very tasty as well with the greens! Oh yeah, banana pudding definitely topped this afternoon dinner off! Will be back soon....“

“Solid BBQ with a very nice bar. Can be a little loud, but also is cozy. Friendly staff and great service.“

“STEVEN! We loved having Steven as our server today. He was so fun to interact with and as always the food hits every single time, it's my 6 year old daughter's favorite restaurant and a must for anyone who comes to visit us from out of town.“

“Family tried this place 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 more times. The ribs are seasoned great and fall off the bone delicious 🤤 Everything is good portions and made good southern style. They were so great with my Aunt’s birthday dinner party with 17 people in the party“

“In a time when service has disappeared quality of food has left the building, the wife and I had a great lunch at Sonny’s. The food and service were both great.“

“Excellent location. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Big plates all tasted great. The staff was very efficient even though we had a party of 12 they kept our drinks filled and never missed a beat. Good ambience too with blues and jazz decorations.“

“I ordered a St. Louis ribs, large platter that included fried corn on the cob and sweet potatoes at ~1:40 pm. The ribs were dry and seemed as if they were cooked yesterday. The corn and sweet potatoes were just warm and not hot. I usually get a better meal than this from Bono’s. I feel like somebody’s trying to avoid throwing away stale food. Every customer visit is an opportunity to impress. It’s also an opportunity to run off a customer. Serving mediocre food is guaranteed to run off customers. The next time I have an urge for barbecue, I’ll probably try some other restaurant.“

“I don’t know how far this will go but the lovely sweet woman by the name of Rachel needs to be in the highest leadership role possible! That woman exemplifies complete customer service at the highest degree. The fact that she has to train assistant managers and she is not one is unbelievable!!! Rachel not only needs a raise but she needs a promotion because she is RUNNING THE SHOW!!!! Gracefully and with a smile!!! #Rachelforleadership

“2nd time coming, food was FANTASTIC again. My stepmother said the calamari is the best she has ever had. This woman knows her seafood. I had the oysters and grilled fish. Absolutely amazing. Everyone I have had the pleasure of talking with has been so friendly and cheerful. I have found my new seafood place.“
