“Great BBQ spot! I used to come here all the time years ago so I’m so glad I recently re-discovered it. First of all, they are the friendliest people ever. They’re just always giving off this radiant positive energy. It’s a good experience before you even get the food and then it just gets better because the food is so good and the portions are hearty and worth the money. That SAUCE.I recommend the collard greens and the potato salad for the sides.

“I eat at Brandon mall 3-4 times a week and have always been curious about Bricks. Reviews are all over the place, but have been very good recently. I had the 2 meat combo with fries(not sure why I did fries) baked beans, ribs , and brisket. The ribs and beans were amazing, ribs were so juicy and succulent, damn good rub and baked beans weee to die for, fries were good too. I was asked if I liked a fatty piece of brisket and said yes. The brisket was kind of dry, definitely didn’t seem like I got any fat on the brisket at all. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t amazing like the ribs, no juiciness to brisket.“

“We chose to come to H&H over Taco 39 for Fathers Day. Honestly…. The service was great and the girls were so sweet and very professional. The food was very good (wow those chicken tenders caught me off guard) but everything was yummy. You get a good amount of food for the price which is appreciated and expected since eating out is not something many people do anymore due to cost.

They were properly cooked, not overdone, mushy, "fall off the bone" which is the hallmark of overdone. We had a conversation with the manager who impressed us as knowing what he was doing. These were the best I have had in this part of Florida. The brisket was tasty, but a bit fatty. The manager apologised and gave us a box of freshly sliced brisket to take home, the sign of competent customer service. We will be back, which is more than I can say for any of the other BBQ we have had in the 4 years since we moved here to the west coast near Tampa.“
