“LI JUST FINISHED EATING THE PULLED PORK PLATTER AND IT MADE ME CURSE THEM OUT! I am extremely picky about pulled pork and baked beans coming from Alabama. This place {{{Knocked it out of the park}}}! I simply don’t care for BBQ in the Tampa Bay Area because most of the time is simply not good or a chain that is inconsistent. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP BY AND GOVERNMENT THEM A CHANCE. I was watching them make sample platters with brisket, chicken, pork, ribs and everything was looking incredible. I dont normally recommend places too easily but this place…. WOW“

“First Class all the way! Had them cater our event for over 250 people, the ‘Topping Off’ party for the new hospital being built in Riverview on 301. From Set -up, the servers and take down- 1st class!!! The food was wonderful!!! Highly recommend.“

“First visit to Kojaks this evening for dinner. We ordered a BBQ Chicken Dinner (1/4 white meat)with green beans and apple sauce ($8.50), a Chopped BBQ Beef sandwich with Mac n cheese ($8.95) and an extra side of baked beans and a corn muffin (.75). The chicken was tasty and moist, the green beans were just right and the apple sauce was tasty. The Chopped BBQ Beef sandwich was not my favorite. I knew when I ordered it that it would be in sauce and usually I prefer a sliced brisket sandwich without sauce but they did not have this as an option on the menu. I should have ordered something else and I’m not sure what I was thinking. However the Mac n cheese was really tasty and the baked beans were really good. The corn muffin was tasty and moist and I can recommend. We also ordered a small Housemade Sangria which was tasty.
This is a family owned and operated restaurant since 1947.
Seating is all indoor and the staff is friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Service was quick. Self serve beverages and proper fresh brewed iced tea (both unsweet and sweet).“

“The order was supposed to be delivered and suddenly they texted me , did not call and said it could not be delivered. I called several times the number they sent and a human never came to the phone .had to drive to the restaurant and placed our order in person. I spoke to someone and showed him our text message confirmation, they said sorry he could not finish the delivery. And just reorder .also asked for a brownie and had no brownie in bag. food is great.“

“Hit this place again today, been here several times. Always very friendly, helpful service. (I'm handicap so he's helped me to the car with the soups several times.) Just finished a few months of cancer treatments, so what better way to rebuilt your health than fresh homemade chicken soup and a matzoh ball! Such great comfort food too! “You walk in an immediately smell the amazing smoked meats! That smell makes you hungry!!! This was our 1st time, and decided to try the 4 meat platter with 2 sides. The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage. My favorite was the brisket, chicken and pulled pork. The French fries and fried okra were the perfect crispy. Coming from Midwest (KS) we have struggled to find a BBQ that was true to the Midwest. We have found it!!! Heath was an owner an came out and asked his customers how it was during a quick break. “Our server was Ann X and she was awesome! It was a busy Sunday afternoon and we came as a family to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant looked a little shorthanded and actually had run out of an item but our server was positive, funny and nice. I know this may seem like a backhanded compliment but it isn't meant to be.
