“Their kiwi boba tea with the blueberry and rainbow jelly is delicious. Their small size boba tea is quite large. The teriyaki salmon has an excellent portion of fish and veggies, and they have soy paper for those who don’t eat seaweed on ones small rolls. As for sushi I recommend asking for Escolar small rolls, they aren’t on the menu but they will custom make them. They’re very buttery smooth fishies.“

We shared several dishes, and everything was good to excellent, but I wanted to write about the Pacific Ocean Roll. The sushi chef created a masterful dish today. The fish was fresh and flavorful. The rice was sweet. The honey mustard perfectly complimented the sweetness of the ingredients. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it… Anyway, the reception was welcoming. The service was attentive. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. The prices were reasonable. There is a Pacific Ocean roll waiting for me in the future. Thank you for a perfect lunch.“

But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon’s and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon’s) to wait on people! So it’s difficult to give people much attention when you’re stretched so thin.We came back after 7 to have dinner. They don’t open until 5pm.I ordered the shrimp “handy”. It’s tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey!My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn’t.Then we shared the sashimi platter. It’s 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo.I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert.A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.“

They were also increasingly helpful for finding vegan options explaining which food could be substitute or with dishes needed a non vegan ingredient. We had the green curry and pad woon send were able to be made vegan.
We enjoyed the sticky mango rice for dessert which was beautiful-looking and decadent.“

My spouse and I shared the Thai beef salad and beef mussaman curry. While not as spicy as the genuine article, it was very flavorful and fresh! Ingredient quality was very high. We are everything and even had to order extra brown rice to get all the curry! Our daughter had the tam ka soup. She is picky, and she loved it. The chicken was a bit dry, a minor quibble. She really enjoyed the creaminess and the contrast of the fresh scallions. Served hot as it should! The pricing is very fair, and the decor is about the best one would expect of south Florida strip mall environs. All in all, for good Thai at a good price in comfortable surroundings with good service, it is a very solid choice!“

They have excellent rolls all curated and designed by the chef with the freshest fish 🐟 that are mostly locally sourced. Originally chef Simon then Lucy are meticulous in their choices and have always been consistent with their quality and flavors as well as their hospitality. The food was great and so was the entertainment but our table only got 1 menu…for 20 people. My parents sat in a different table (because of the lack of space) and they didn’t even get a menu, but the guests that arrived AFTER them did, do with information what you will. I also don’t know if they just don’t own spoons but i asked for one and got a plastic spoon. Besides those inconveniences, the hibachi chefs were awesome and so was the food.“
