“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“We hadd dinner at Metro Diner last night and our server, Nick was awesome. He was very attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed. I had the new baby back ribs on the menu and my husband had the philly cheese steak. Both meals were excellent, the fall off the bone ribs were very tasty and hubby said his philly cheese steak was on of the best ever had. Check them out and enjoy!“

“When you step into the restaurant immediately you feel comfortable! Not a huge dining area but decent, this place has soul!! I ordered biscuits and gravy, with a side of cheese eggs and sausage! Hands down my favorite Breakfast Spot! I have been to many restaurants in Sanford for breakfast. I would put this one on Top!!! The biscuits taste like they are def homemade, and the prices are right, I normally finish my food but I was so stuffed. I left an entire essay about this because I'm very satisfied. Don't plan on eating anywhere else for breakfast!“

“My husband and I intended to do the 1/2 price appetizers. Online stated 9, but it was actually 10. We arrived at 9:30 and I was not waiting around lol. Thankfully they had their two for $25 special where you could each get a salad or share one appetizer and you each get an entree. The last time we were there we got the three appetizers special and the mozzarella sticks were pretty good. So this time we got the mozzarella sticks as the appetizer to share, I got the grilled cheese burger with tomato soup and fries and my husband got the chicken fettuccine with a breadstick and a bogo beer deal. Service was quick, the food was good, and we were out of there for under 30+ dollars not including tip. Nice date night dining.“

My server, Sydney C., was knowledgeable about the GF options and even double checked with her manager. She even brought up cross contamination before I did and assured me it would not be an issue. They have a sit down dining restaraunt that has good food as well if you don't want to sit in bleachers or sit outside. Plenty of parking . Admission is cheap.“

I'm especially looking forward to DT incorporating some long gun scenarios into the mix. If I were to offer some suggestions for improvements, they'd involve additional options of weapons available to work with....ARs, shotguns would be the most beneficial. Increased need for tactical reloads or dealing with weapon malfunctions would be awesome. And lastly, some system for delivering physical feedback, like if you were taking incoming fire or if you leave yourself unnecessarily exposed for too long. Regardless, we'll be back.... was too much fun not to run thru it a few more times.“

I was a bit disappointed when I put money in the jukebox and played some classic rock and then they turned it way down low and I couldn’t even hear it -if you don’t like the music your customers play then unplug the jukebox. thank you for taking money off of my bill, but it didn’t address the actual issue, I can go to any other bar and Grill 👉🏻and they would not do that. “Stayed for 4 days during and after Ian. The staff was amazing especially the breakfast hustle, we chose to eat on-site and stay off the roads like a majority of other guests so they were busier probably than a typical day. They made lunch available not usually served, again they stepped up and took care of everyone like it was a daily occurrence made the experience that much more welcoming. Dinners again they had a line constantly at the register to order, and again just kept going with a great attitude and each person I observed ordering was treated like they were each the priority. Great staff and amazing job when things were not optimal, made it seem like an everyday occurrence.“
