We will definitely frequent this place a few times whenever we’re blessed to be on the island. They made you feel like old friends, like we were locals. “This little pop up Christmas hot spot on Anna Maria Island is A hidden gem and a must visit! Love the small island vibe and friendly staff! This festive pop up was so inviting and warm! It is on the pricey side for a cocktail and food but you will find a uniqueness like nothing else on the island.“

“My wife and I came for dinner. The New Age Flatbread was AWESOME. Crust was amazing.. Shrimp Cocktail Great! and Osso Bucco was to die for! The meat fell off the bone and melted in you mouth. Kirby was our server and was just terrific.. She was friendly and very attentive.“

“We went to the 11th annual Bradenton Area River Regatta, on the Manatee River, featuring Formula 1 powerboat racing, Formula Lights, and Tri-Hulls. The free event includes racing action from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with championship finals starting at 2:15 p.m. Afterwards we had dinner at one of our favorite spots for delicious food & drinks. We had their Regatta rum punch to celebrate the event. We both had fish & chips too. Delicious.
We highly recommend Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant anytime.“

“good place, but the dog on the bar/barstools has to go. every waitstaff person pets that dog and never wash their hands. if its a service animal, it needs to be on the floor, not being fed at the bar by employees and patrons, which i have witnessed.“

“We saw this was very close to where we’re staying when checking out the area before our trip and looked forward to giving it a try - it did not disappoint in any way! The food was fresh and delicious and the owner and staff were friendly. It’s not a huge menu which we appreciated as they focus on what they do great. Good beer selection and great vibe.“

“I highly recommend them. They made my wedding cake, cookies and cupcakes-and My best friend’s birthday cake during our stay on the island. They were absolutely amazing!! The customer service was amazing planning a wedding 1300 miles away! The display of the wedding cake was beyond amazing. They paid attention to every detail I wanted and was looking for in doing my beach wedding theme.. great job hometown sweets and I definitely be visiting more when I visit the island“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

“This is THE SPOT. Wow! Their famous Chicken and biscuit was so delicious, juicy and flavorful. Home fries….yes! Kids had Mickey Mouse pancakes and yes, I snuck a few bites. Also one of the few places with a good coffee menu…thank goodness! Espresso Freddo (cold) hit the spot on a hot day. Service was 100%.“

“OFFICIALLY the best breakfast in town!!! FRESH FOOD COOKED TO PERFECTION!!! Highly highly recommend me & my husband we’re first timers to this metro diner we ordered the San Francisco Benedict’s & the breakfast burger honestly never had food that tasted so good eggs were perfect burger cooked perfect seasoned fries AMAZING avocado tomato were FRESH METRO DINER JUST GOT TWO REGULARS FOR LIFE!!! I cannot express enough to the cooks hostess and especially our waitress Payton!! (Sorry if I spelt it wrong) such a amazing waitress!!!! She needs a raise for sure!!! “We had a fantastic experience at Compass Bar & Chill -- thanks to our wonderful server, Cindy. She was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we sat down at the pool area. Cindy promptly took our drink orders and brought them with a smile, then followed up to take our food order. Everything—from the delicious fish tacos to the perfectly cooked quesadillas—was spot on. “5 stars for family friendly atmosphere, great food, and cold beer! The owners Staci and Josh have worked so hard alongside their staff to bring back the Boiler Room and boy have they outdone themselves! We have been many times since they re-opened the doors, and every time has been great service and delicious food. Kid approved too! They were also very accommodating when we brought 11 family members in for Monday night football! We cannot recommend Boiler Room enough. YUM!“

This chicken provides all the protein i need and not only that.......it taste soooooo good 😋

“10/10 a must visit dining experience. My husband and I hosted our 25th wedding vow renewal celebration here and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Nicole was tremendous help in coordination, the service was top notch, the food was absolutely delicious and the ambience was so perfect. I also have food allergies that they were happy to accommodate for. I cannot wait to visit this beautiful place again!“
