“I stopped in there yesterday and got a couple hamburgers and some fries, it was absolutely delicious. The hamburger is so fresh and such a pleasure to eat. The french fries are mouthwatering. The atmosphere was phenomenal, two guys working very hard I was in and out of there within a few minutes took the food home. It was delicious. “I use our local store on Cortez here in Bradenton Florida. Atleast once a week we get one of full boxes, the kids love these sandwiches. They never fail! I have them catered, they are here on time everytime, and quality is GREAT! I recommend them! They have a great selection and they wont let you down“

“This is a basic hispanic food truck in the parking lot of a gas station... With that being said, the empanadas are as tasty as any I've ever had, anywhere!I give the service and atmosphere a three (at best) depending upon which vagrant is on the corner begging you for money and which employee is working. Do not expect the employees to answer the phone. I've called numerous times and watched them ignore the ringing phone.I give great praise to the quality of the Molida (Ground Beef) and Queso (Cheese) Empanadas for the fabulous price of only $5.00 each. Please consider trying them when you are in the area of 57th Avenue West & 14th Street West.:-)“

“It's a fast food sub shop, a bit overpriced, but for what it's worth the sub I had wasn't half bad. Growing up in Baltimore in the 70s it seemed like there was a legit sub shop on every corner and it was not hard to find great subs and pizzas almost everywhere; here in Bradenton, not so much. It was my first time to JMs and I wasn't expecting more than a subway type experience, you know what I'm talking about, a decent sandwich but not a good sub. The italian sub I had though was actually pretty darn good, and I think once I dial down the correct combination of toppings I might just become a repeat offender at JMs Manatee.“

“It's been a while since I've been to a Checkers, since I now live in a different state. I'm glad I stopped in for lunch. The service was quick and friendly. The food was as delicious as I remember. The burger had just the right amount of sauces. The bacon on top was perfect. The fries... wow! No one has fries like this! The outdoor seating was clean and plentiful. The only regret is that I will go home soon where there is no Checkers. I hope the locals appreciate what they have here.“

“When I get off of work most places in the area aren't open because it's almost midnight, I'm able to drive over here in about 10 minutes or so, good food and reasonably priced... If only all other franchises like this were open a little later. Definitely recommend this place.“

“I have been to this subway only a few times but would select this location over any others based on one thing, their worker Okera!! She has the best customer service i’ve experienced in a long time. She is polite and engaging with every customer. She was fast and efficient as well. She should definitely receive praise with the way she ran the store!!“

“This subway is the absolute best one in all of bradenton. I work close by so I visit a few times a week. The workers are extremely nice, they make the sandwiches perfectly, the store is always clean and the music entertaining. If im at my home I well skip over 2 other subways to go to this one. Never had any kind of bad experience here and I've been eating lunch there for the past 7 years cause of where my job is located.“

“I came in at about 6 30 there was only 1 employee in the and it was probaly the best subway experience I've had in my life. The whoe store was clean and well kept and the employee Kevin was very kind and welcoming some one should give him props.“

“I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the employee working this afternoon (05/17/2025 around 1 PM). He was the only one in the shop, handling a steady line of customers all on his own, and I was genuinely impressed by how calmly and professionally he managed everything.

At one point, a mobile order customer came in and was extremely rude—borderline dehumanizing—because his order wasn’t ready yet. Despite being clearly overwhelmed, the employee remained kind, apologetic, and composed. I even let the mobile order customer go ahead of my son and me just to help ease the situation and get him out of there quicker.

To that employee: I really hope you were able to take a well-earned break after that. You handled the entire situation with grace and patience, and I want you to know that your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for showing up, for doing your best, and for treating everyone with respect—even when it wasn’t returned. Not all customers are like that, and people like you make a real difference.
