“Best curried goat I’ve ever had! The sauce was amazing and the meat was flavorful and tender. Get the juice of the day. It was so fresh and tangy! Got the rum cake for dessert: moist and delicious. The rum flavor was good, but the vanilla in the cake was the winner.
Owner waited on us. I felt like a special guest.“

“Food was amazing and the server was very busy. She did keep apologizing for my wait to order. The problem is the Hostess was very angry because it was busy. When I walked in, there was a wait. I said oh it's a little busy huh. She became angry and said yeah way to busy. What?!? Then I found out why. She wanted to play on her phone, which she was doing every chance she got. This is why most businesses now have a no cell phone on the floor policy.“

“We visited Amistad Grill this morning for breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were greeted and seated promptly. Started with a delicious cup of espresso. Very good and creamy. I went with the Steak and Eggs Skillet. Delicious and filling. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!“

“We were greeted immediately and seated with no wait time. My family started with cheese dip which was made of actual cheese. The waiter was friendly and happy to answer any questions. I got the Guadalajara plate which came on two plates, so I could try a lot of food in one visit. You won’t be disappointed with the tamales, chili rellenos, rice and beans. I bit myself twice, this food was so good! The scenery was great and had beautiful Mexican art.“

“This entire year, my husband and I ordered twice a month ( beginning of month and end of month) our dinners, our treat. The consistency of our food is great. Never any surprises. “I have been here several times and it is by far the best PR food at the best price I have had between here and Orlando. The PR Rice (mamposteao with sweet plantains and steak mixed in) is amazing. Love their appetizer Coqui bandeja and their alcapurrias are great. My parents who are a set of the pickiest people on this planet love the food. He had a seafood soup (not on the menu) and the mofongo bowl (if you don't know, go find out!) and they were signing its praises. Gino (the chef) knows how to whip it up in the kitchen. I highly recommend you go there. It will not disappoint!“

“The quesa birria tacos could only be better if made with goat vs. beef. Even the consumme was delicious! The bistro was super thin and pretty chewy. The flavor was good but more like jerky. The beans and rice were so so. The tortillas were excellent. The salsa bar was superb.“

“Food is really good and the prices are fair but the service is really bad. Staff was not welcoming and I felt like they were annoyed that they had to take my order. That being said the food made up for it so I’ll return hoping that today was a one off with the mood.“

“Very good service, we went for an early lunch. I have never tried pho and I wanted to try it. Personally, I'm done with it, but my daughter loved it and said it was pretty good. I'll go back for other things like sushi since I liked the service .
They could use new menus, they were sticky and falling apart, overused, so that didn't give me a good impression at first.“

“I got the steak bomb first time trying it. It was great. I feel like the bread could be more wider to fit more meat there but that’s okay. It was seasoned great & their attitudes were great too. I was in line when their system went down so I couldn’t pay with card at the moment but it was okay. The guy told everyone and let us know where we can go to the atm if needed. I would definitely recommend and be back!“

“My husband and are on a mini vacation from NJ and decided to stay in Florida City before heading to Key West. My husband who is Haitian wanted to eat some good Haitian Food. Being that we have travel throughout Florida on numerous occasions and have tried several Haitian Restaurants that was decent, however after watching a Facebook live review from The Hungry Black Man at Sak Pase Restaurant here in South Florida we decided to try the food as well and I must say THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS ON POINT! The restaurant was clean with a friendly atmosphere and the owner came and greeted us that was a plus. I told him even though I'm American I enjoyed listening to the sound of the Caribbean Music as we dine. My husband and I order so much food. We had djon djon rice, fried red snapper, curry chicken, lalo, and legume the food was seasoned well. OMG everything was delicious and the portions was a nice size and we topped it off with freshly squeezed chilled Jisitron (limeade). This beverages is soooooooooo delicious. Also the cost of everything was inexpensive. The next time I am in South Florida Sak Pase Restaurant will be my to go place.“
