“I’ve been going here at the Howard’s Flea Market since I was a kid and always love making a stop at the dixie dogs. This past trip I went with a friend who’s never been and she was glad I talked her into going and will definitely be back!“

“Family owned restaurant husband and wife. The service was great. I had the Beef Lumpia for an appetizer and I had their special Walleye blacked with rice and vegetables. The food was out standing. The owner was behind the bar and his wife waited on us who were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very nice with brick walls and a tin ceiling. They had all kinds of bottles of wine on the walls and a full bar. There was outside sitting but we chose inside because it was a little too warm outside. We are in down only visiting but would make this a regular to eat at.“

I had the shrimp tacos and the shrimp were so fresh I’m surprised they did wiggle off the plate.Even better were the fried plantains— omg, served with a nice, slightly spicy sauce. Incredible.The atmosphere is perfect, like being in Puerto Rico, you can def lose yourself here.At another table they were exclaiming over the homemade ice cream, but I was too full. There must have been 15 or more shrimp on my tacos.Please excuse the picture of the plantains, as you can see, they disappeared. I don’t know what happened.“

We started off with the cheese tray and it was exceptional , the honey comb tasted so good! Then on to appetizers we had escargot and calamari with sauce on the side. “It's was not bad. I wish salads would be fresher...My steak was a bit dry and salty,but tasty. Salad dressings seem to be prepared right thete,broccoli was actually well cooked, not overly steamed-rate thing today's times...What I didn't like it's the fact,that waitress brought my cheek before I asked. I NEVER come back in restaurants, where they do that. You can't use a conveyer principle on clients, rushing them out. I was denied a peaceful enjoyment of my cake, I guess,it was senseless for me to order coffee for it,because she left the check right in front of my face...“

The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly and attentive.The food was great, our table had a little bit of everything - hummus, shrimp and grits, grilled ham and cheese with tomato soup, salads, peanut butter pie. “This restaurant is the perfect example of how I like to travel. No chain stores. Just real folks and real food. The atmosphere is good. Everyone kind of keeps to themselves and just enjoy the food. I had a simple big breakfast that didn’t disappoint. The food looked good and tasted better. The small things like perfectly sweetened sweet tea and the best biscuits that I have had in quite a while. Our server was very warming and fun. You’ll like this place. The menu is very diverse with the typical breakfast foods along with liver and onions and gator bites. I can tell that they take care of the kitchen because my home fries were fresh and the eggs were good with no extra taste from anything else on the grill. Just stop reading and stop by. It’s gud! ?“

“This is a spinoff from their place down town...This was the third time we have had food...Everything is cooked as ordered..and THAT'S THE LITTLE ISSUE!The owner really needs to put a ventilation system in to get that HANGING IN THE AIR SMELL away from the main dining area!I KNOW for some people this is a BIG issue!If you are "good" with it...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!“

“We found an gem in Citrus County! We've been in different days of the week, different times... It's always so much fun! The food is great, the staff is great and the atmosphere is amazing. Absolutely love the bartenders, they always make your visit so much fun from jokes to trivia including the entire bar so everyone is included. The beer and wine selection is also amazing! We love to try different beers so this place is a gem! We also recently found the courtyard and OMG it's amazing. We tell all our friends and many will be going with us soon. “Great food at very fair prices. You would expect to pay more at this kind of location, so I was very happy about pricing. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken was good, the fried chicken would beat most restaurants easily. Everything was hot and fresh. You should definitely grab a meal while you're there and I would strongly recommend you go with the fried chicken sandwich (I had the tater tots for a side and they were well done also)“

“What a beautiful location for lunch on a fantastic weather day. The wait was going to be 1 hour, but when we looked for a place to wait, we found an empty table next to the dock and was served there. The food was very good and the price was reasonable. There was a band playing, and we were just far enough to be able to have a conversation. This place has a lot to offer, and that's why it's become a destination.“

I like honey mustard and chicken salad but I know they serve salads without meat as well...Kid-friendliness: I would bring my children here but not after about 8 or 9 pm lol... just saying. “Very busy and pretty short staffed. The food was very good. I had the grouper "Ruben" and was very satisfied. We also ate raw oysters (from Virginia?) not local which was a bummer. But good. As well as clam chowder. Very good. Overall a nice clean place to have lunch.Parking: Gravel area but plenty of spaces.“

“This was the perfect stop on our way down to Tampa from the panhandle. Incredibly friendly service and super clean. The main dining was clean and the bathrooms were clean. The food hit the spot. I got a foot long corn dog and my wife got the Chicago dog. There is ketchup and mustard at each table. There is also malt vinegar near the register. We all liked the fries. I got Mexican fries and my wife got poutine. The wings are great and the chicken sandwich was also tasty. Based on our sampling, I think it's a safe bet that everything on the menu is worth a try. If you're in the mood for some hot dogs and fries, then it doesn't get any better than this.“

“Jersey Mike's makes excellent subs. They operate in an assembly line style, but everyone is very friendly and personable. This location has indoor and outdoor seating available. I've ordered several different subs there and they've always been delicious. The food is very fresh from the bread to the meat and other fillings. This is a chain, but it is consistently good no matter where you are.“

“The best Chinese food I have had since I moved to Florida. This was every bit as tasty and good as what I would have had in Manhattan.It is a take out place, so not suitable for date night out…but great for date night at home with excellent food.“

“I always wondered what this place was like. Stopped in today for lunch and sat at the bar. I was the only one there at the time. Some other people showed up afterwards and it's not a large bar so I would say it was about 2/3 full. There are lots of tables also for people who come in in groups. They have draft beer and regular beer. An interesting menu which I wasn't expecting. I got the same old fish and chips like I always do. It was nicely prepared and plenty of food. The guys next to me got some kind of beef sandwich which actually looked pretty good. People at the bar were friendly. Not all over the top friendly but just nice. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was good. The one bartender they had was also working tables so everyone was pretty busy. I had a box to go when I left. Enough for dinner yet. Not too expensive. Mine came to around $16 and I had had a meal and a beer. I would definitely recommend this place. It's not real fancy inside but it does quite a good business so they must be doing something right.“

There's a tiki bar out the back, but it's very busy and noisy.I had grilled scallops that were plentiful but a bit soggy though they were tasty.There's plenty of parking in front and side of the building.“

We ordered simple like we always do when trying a new place... the grilled cheese with a side salad and the Sausage Adouille. Both came out perfect.
