“We ordered DoorDash tonight. The food here is great but I decided to add cream cheese to my 7$ shrimp tempora roll, knowing there would be an extra charge as all places do. They charged $8.47 to add cream cheese to a 7$ roll. That’s just insane. I always add cream cheese to rolls at other restaurants and never had to pay that much. Not worth it and disappointed.“

“I was a little worried when I walked in at 5:45pm and there wasn’t anyone in the restaurant. That’s usually a sign either a place is super new or not good. But let me just say, it was amazing. I’m not from here and I eat sushi all over the US. (It’s my favorite food.) and this is top 5 and my new Jacksonville spot.“

“So let me tell you. I love their sushi. Good food. Great price. Always good service. Now a beef. I used to eat there twice a month. They give you fried Oreo for desert. Complements of the house. But when I order pick up guess what. They wanted to charge $6 for something they give me free. Used to be a regular and hate to even say something negative but that’s just not right.“

“ALWAYS great food and great service! Very fresh sushi and salads! Their dinners are also always perfect, our favorite is the side filet medium. I love that you can get the usual full hibachi meals but if you don’t want that much food, they have a “side” menu where you can get just the hibachi meat without the veggies and rice. Best Japanese food around!“

“The sweetest people ever. I ordered on Uber eats and asked for extra sauce. I told them to request my cash app because I wanted to tip them for the extra sauce (it wasn’t an option on uber eats). They charged me an extra dollar, which was way less than what I would’ve given them, and gave me an extra sushi roll on top of a LOT of white sauce. Definitely will be ordering again. Thank you so much Tokyo Asian Kitchen and the angels that work there ! ♥️“

“We are blown away by this little sushi house gem! Have passed it for many years on our way to the beach but never been before. We first visited in May have been back 3 times already- and it’s a solid 40 mins drive from where we live! The sushi has been consistently fresh, prepared and presented beautifully and so so tasty! Best avocado I’ve ever had on a sushi, too! Staff is super friendly and sweet. Price is very reasonable for the quality of food. Small little sushi house but I like that! We’ve consistently been happy with the Dancing Dragon and the New Orleans Roll. I can’t wait to go back soon!“

“If you want a pleasant dining experience and great food, this is a go to place. Clean and relaxing environment. Perfect for family, dates, just you. Everyone who likes Asian will LOVE this Asian food. The staff is 100!! I can’t dine out often so this is my treat for myself and especially any out of town guests I have to visit.“

“This was my favorite restaurant in Jax. But, the waiter decided to add a 20% gratuity to the total. We were only a party of two, and this typically applies to parties of more than 4. Be sure to check your tickets. He did this to everyone at the table. We will not be revisiting anytime soon. Likewise, he only checked our drinks once.“

“Great food experience the chef and staff were excellent. They dont serve noodles with the dinner and I really wanted noodles with my hibachi but the fried rice was very nicely done. Overall good experience and good food. A little pricey though so best for special occasions.“

“Daruma's is my absolute favorite Japanese Steak House!! The service is good & the food is always fantastic!! I can't speak for the sushi since I don't like it but the steak & chicken fried rice is always spot on!!! If you haven't been to Daruma's, what are you waiting for??? Go now!!“

“If you’re looking for good sushi at a good price, it’s hard to beat Fuji Sushi. Any of the bad reviews simply don’t understand the business model. The reason they can offer such great prices without sacrificing quality is because they get people in and out fast. You will get all the food you want and more—but this is not the place to linger for hours.“

“At first I thought very were going to be ok because they didn’t have a lot of people inside but once I tried it!!!!!! I DONT get my SUSHI & Hibachi NO WHERE else!!! Their food is amazing! I have gone so many times most of all the guy that work there know me!!!! I’m actually going tonight lol!“

“I had such an amazing experience at this sushi restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — definitely some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Our sever Maria was also amazing. She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel so welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Maria again!“
