“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“Was in town for ga/fl game. Food was amazing. I ordered cinnamon swirl pancakes and bf ordered western omelet with loaded hashbrown. The food was so delicious, off the charts. Customer service was great. We did have to wait to be seated but wasn’t no more than 10/15 minutes. Would highly recommend.“

“I love this location bc the cook always gets my order perfect. I am not picky but textures sometimes bother me even if I’ve had the food before. The cook there with the bluish hair always makes my eggs and bacon perfect so I am comfortable mixing them in my grits. My son is also affected by this texture issue and he loves Waffle House bc they don’t go over board with the chocolate chips in the waffles which taste great but we hate to see them. I used to frequent a different location off beach but adopted this one a month ago which is even better bc it’s closer to my house and less ppl loitering around.“

The Waffle House is a good experience but the people behind the counter I wasn't very comfortable with you know they were short and direct and it wasn't pleasing and how you doing Hospitality was out the door. They try to get us for the biggest check they could. And I wasn't too happy I'm not sure if I go back or not but this is the Waffle House on 103rd it was okay but it could have been better it could have been more hospitable and more respectful and more into their job.“

But man when I tell you I had that five and dime sandwich IT WAS GREATNESS!! That gravy man it was phenomenal it was rich, creamy and had a huge sausage so I’m having 2 different meats which is worth every single dime I paid for. Those tasty hashbrowns were sooo good and those grits chefs kiss! The manager of the place I believe Destiny walked around talking to people and then came to us. Told us a little bit about the company and also that everything is made from scratch and which is amazing. “Stopped in here for our first time last Sunday, for breakfast. It was PHENOMENAL! The restaurant wasn't to busy or crowded, the staff was enthusiastic and upbeat, and at the end of our terrific meal the very pleasant manager, Kwamtiko Neal, gave us her business card and 2 free AMAZING cinnamon Biscuits. We thought we would save them for later but the warmth and smell of them drew us to munching them down before we even went on with our day. MAPLESTREET is definitely one of new favorites!“

“so we have been going and getting food for over 12 years from here. today my husband did a to go order was charged 24 dollars which he knew was wrong and both employees argued the price went online which everyone knows cost extra and reordered price was only 20.45 so evidently someone here is adding tips again with out permission from the customer. will never go back lost another repeated customer several other regulars told us not to patron here anymore should of listened and the cashier did not give him his receipt hmmm sound fishy to me“

“Last time I was at an IHOP, a roach decided to join me on top of the table (in Charlotte, NC) so I left immediately but I decided to give it a try again and I'm in awe. Forgot to take a photo cuz it was so delicious. Had sirloin tips with fries (golden and crispy, 😋) and green beans. I was not disappointed. Thank you IHOP, I will definitely be back.“
