I'm visiting FL from California and honestly I've previously been disappointed with the Jacksonville food scene so I didn't have much expectations for this place. Going inside, would not recommend due to the smell. They house raw food so I'm not surprised that it smelled due to all the seafood they had, PLUS it's a seafood spot so I wasn't expecting like a flower smell or something loll. I LOOOOVE this place! It's a bit unorthodox but the portions are tremendous, the quality is UNMATCHED!! THE FLAVORS ARE PERFECT and the cost is reasonable!! YOUVE GOTTA TRY IT! I had the blue crab with a sausage corn and potatoes plate but the serve it cold so be prepared to warm it yourself.

I always enjoy my trips to JCs Seafood. They have the best customer service. I love the environment, it's clean for the most part. Mr. Mike gives my daughter candy and juice almost every time. We enjoyed the large crab trays and fried fish! When I say the crabs piled high and meaty I mean just that! Myself, my husband and my daughter are from this tray and got full.
