Panera Bread in Jacksonville

“I can’t say enough that obedience is better than sacrifice. I came to Panera and didn’t realize that my baby didn’t put my debit card back in my purse from the night before when he went to Home Depot for me. I had already ordered and was frantically looking for my card as I stepped to the side in the line. Jazmyn, without flinching said I got you. I’m going to bless you today. I was like what! Then I remembered a conversation that I had with God on the way there. I told her, thank you. This is something that I would do. So I sat down still looking through my purse for my card. After verifying that he didn’t put the card back, I was leaving and I asked to speak to Jazmyn. I explained to her that her act of kindness was God explaining to me that His voice will be heard and His hugs will be felt by his children. I explained what all had happened already that morning and how I wound up to her Panera. We hugged and cried while rejoicing. When I left there, I found my son dropped my card in my car. I went to get gas and a young lady asked if I had any change. I told her that someone helped me this morning and I was going to help her too. I let her know that no matter how she got in that condition, what happened and what didn’t happen doesn’t matter. All that matters is God has not forgotten about her nor me and she doesn’t have to stay there. I asked if she minded if I give her a hug. We hugged and I saw love in action on a morning when I almost let the enemy play with my peace. Thank you Jazmyn for being so kind and being a vessel for God. It’s normal to take on God’s character. Anything else is what’s abnormal 🙏🏽🫶🏽

“The food is good, but the price you pay for the food at a kiosk to then have to go get your food from the serving counter once its ready is why I give 4 stars overall.
The food is great.
The service, well I only spoke to one employee, and that was to find out where to get the 3.99 soda (fountain drink i paid for).“

“We are in our fifties and were passing through town around lunch time on a Sunday and we stopped here because we had a gift card. Panera's portions seem to have gotten smaller over the years, especially for the price, but we were pleasantly surprised here. The sandwich and soup we ordered were excellent, not skimpy on the portions, and we encountered no problems at all. We would recommend it.“

I had bad experience with Panera bread at baymedow brittany there and the other lady on the pick up station were so rude and unprofessional she got my order wrong 3 times and than they acted confused so I had to cancel my order there and drove all the way to this location and it is worth the driving .

“What an amazing experience I had here. I love the food, love the service, and are just absolutely phenomenal. I love everything here, and it's hard to pick out what things I don't like. The employees are super easy to communicate with. They don't give you a hard time. It's just amazing to see that there are places out there like this one. Thank you, I definitely recommend it.“

“Panera bread has organically and ethically derived and sustained food. It is very important to me, as I strive to be healthy. I love their options and coupons, and they are fast and friendly. The one in Jax Beach had a very friendly lady who gave me half a cookie. Whaaat?“

“The staff here was attentive, I arrived later in the evening and ordered at the kiosk to make my presence easier on the staff, and the food was done promptly. Unfortunately, I didn't check the bag before leaving the restaurant ? I always check the bag.

I checked the bag when I got home realizing one item was missing from my order, I was worried I would be forced to drive back, and I was too tired for all that. I am 100% understanding when it comes to mistakes ? we all make them.

I called the location, explained the situation, and he offered a refund right there over the phone!! Other restaurants not offering this option, I was very satisfied with the service I received, and I got my money back on my card within a few days!“

“I felt icky eating in here. This crew needs some serious deep cleaning days. I always thought there were “daily detail” jobs (or there were when I worked for Panera!) but the ledges are super dusty, as are the lamp shades, the booths need a serious wipe down, and the carpets under the tables need to be scrubbed or replaced (or at least vacuumed/swept better.) The tables that looked clean all had crumbs and sticky stuff on them (hard to see with the wood grain pattern.) Love the food at Panera, but this one was pretty gross for being one of the newer ones in town.“
