Route 90 BBQ offers excellent barbecue at a very reasonable price. The smoked turkey platter with two sides is delicious, with the turkey being tender and flavorful. However, the ribs lack flavor, while the fries have more seasoning. The bread is good, but the ribs are a disappointment. The restaurant is popular with locals, as evidenced by the packed parking lot filled with work trucks and police vehicles. The staff is friendly, and the service is great. The smoked chicken plate with collards and green beans is a standout, with the collards being some of the best in the restaurant. The restaurant also offers a nice touch with complimentary servings of banana pudding.
