Sandollar Restaurant Reviews
Visited in March 2026. Food and service were both fantastic, so good that we came back the next night while still in town. I had the shrimp and grits and also the fish tacos. Superb!!
Had a great experience eating , get home and notice my vehicle has been hit and no one left any information! Other people definitely ruin others people hard earned belongings and it is just disappointing!
Very disappointed this afternoon. Food was not worth it. Greasy fried shrimp, clam chowder too thick & wasn't sure there was any clams, just potatoes. The Sandollar has been a favorite for quite a while, but no more. Menu has been shortened quite a bit. No 2 choice seafood combos and platter is out of sight.

Sandollar Restaurant is a beloved spot offering great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy their Angus Burger and chicken wings, served with hospitality by friendly staff. On a nice day, dining by the water is a treat, especially with a live band playing outside. This kid-friendly restaurant is perfect for families, featuring a coloring menu for little ones. The cashew grouper is moist with generous portions, and the hush puppies are praised as the best ever. The blackened mahi fish tacos are also delicious. While the seafood is flavorful and the view is spectacular, some guests have noted that the kitchen can be slow, and there may be too few servers. Recently, some diners have expressed disappointment in the food quality, mentioning greasy fried shrimp and thick clam chowder lacking clams. Although the restaurant has been a favorite, some feel the menu has been shortened and needs updates.
