“Different from the location next to fiu aesthetic wise, the one by fiu is anime themed and this one is very fancy, calming, Chinese mountain vibes. I like the calming music they have, the gyoza is absolutely to die for, and the service is very friendly“

“While staying at the Fisher House near the VA hospital, I was craving some Chinese food as a change of pace from the delicious local Cuban cuisine. Even though this spot might not look like much from the outside, don't let the age or the location fool you—it is a busy, popular, takeout-only gem.

​I ordered the jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables, the Triple Delight, and some chicken wings. Everything was spot on: the food was fresh, served piping hot, and packaged perfectly.

​The highlight, however, was the service. The gentleman who took my order (I believe the owner) provided exceptional hospitality. He was incredibly welcoming, communicated clearly, and had a great sense of humor. When I was feeling indecisive, he patiently guided me to some great choices.

“Chop Suey Restaurant (韦氏酒家) – Solid Chinese comfort food in Miami

We visited Chop Suey Restaurant (韦氏酒家) after going to the Sex Museum, and it turned out to be a pleasant find in a quiet residential area. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive.

We ordered spicy chicken and braised beef brisket with radish. Portions were generous — easily enough for two people to share. The spicy chicken was decent and very good with rice, while the beef brisket was tender but a bit sweeter than expected for our taste. All dishes came with complimentary steamed rice, and Chinese tea or water was provided for free, which we appreciated.

We noticed many local diners ordering the fried chicken, which looked delicious — unfortunately, we were only two people and couldn’t try more dishes.

If you’re in Miami and craving Chinese food, this is a reliable option and might just surprise you.“

“Yum Yum has savory chicken and broccoli, egg drop or won ton soup and rice. Chinese food is as comforting as Mexican food...always hot and delicious. Quiet atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal in relaxation. Travelers can drive or Uber easily. Most yummy.“

“This is a take-out only restaurant. Order from a window, wait for your food which is cooked fairly quickly. I was so happy I chose to eat at Beijing Restaurant. I paid just $11.50 for beef and broccoli with special fried rice and I got so much food... Enough for 2 meals. The food was very flavorful as well, tender beef and delicious special fried rice. The food was cooked within 15 mins, I waited in my car for the food and before I knew it, it was ready. No complaints. I will DEFINITELY become a regular here.“

Food portions were incredible and came with lots of condiments. As we are staying in a hotel they kindly even included paper plates with the cutlery, sauces and even Fortnite cookies. “First time here, don't eat Chinese food a lot but this was decent. The special rice was good with shrimp, chicken,pork,egg,bean sprouts, scallops, and onions. Not bad pork, shrimp or chicken in every bite. I had the honey garlic wings with special rice dinner for $10.25. It's a hole in the wall, but clean and the lady was pleasant.The portions were decent and if you're not an NFL player it might feed you and another person. I will be back for the honey garlic chicken dinner next! Up date MSG in the stir fried rice, I felt it a few hours after eating. Very picky about what I put in my body. Will only order plain rice from now on.“

“I just found this spot about two weeks ago and I like it a lot. I'm vegetarian so they make it with tofu and they don't put any MSG or eggs in it for me. The lady at the window is very nice once you talk to her and ask her how she's doing but other than that it's a pretty basic establishment. I do recommend it it's on 54th Street right off 27th Avenue Northwest and very convenient if you're in the area.“

“Made an Uber Eats order and the food came out to be delicious and well packaged which helped out alot when it came down to the BBQ boneless ribs and all the sauce it comes with and they added aluminum foil to prevent leakage if handled with care and appreciated that small detail. There aren't many good chinese takeout locations in Miami and my previous favorite one shut down and so I will be a returning client and making this my go to spot. There is always room for improvement so appreciate the services given had no complaints. Used to come here when younger

The kitchen never seems to fully quiet down, even when it should. You hear movement, utensils, low voices… even when no one is back there. The staff are attentive—almost too attentive. Plates arrive before you remember ordering. Drinks get refilled the moment you take the last sip. It’s like they’re watching… even when you can’t see them. Every bite exactly how it should be. Almost like it was made specifically for you… before you even chose it. I left full, satisfied… but uneasy. Still, I’d come back.
