“Wow — what an amazing early dinner experience! I was eating alone and expected the usual slower service you sometimes get when a restaurant isn’t busy, but that was not the case. Joemi, my server, was incredibly attentive and patient, and truly made me feel welcomed.

I later had to call for a copy of my receipt, and Manager Cilan was so kind and helpful over the phone.

The food was delicious, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.

“I always get the same dish, the Mama Pork Fried Rice, because it is comforting & delish. The only complaint is that the last 2 times the restaurant has been out of the coconut milk I love so much. Api has been our server several times & she is a delight. Tonight Karla was her helper & both treated our table very well. We were celebrating a birthday & we got to chose the dessert we wanted, (complimentary). This is a restaurant we will keep coming to.“

“Dumplings Mi Amor is an absolute gem. We ordered the ramen and the beef dumplings with mushroom, and everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. You can really feel the care and experience behind the food, especially knowing the owner, Ryan, trained as a chef in Japan. He was so kind and genuinely cool, which made the whole experience even better.

Maria, our waitress, gave excellent recommendations and let us know about their great drink specials, which was the perfect finishing touch. Between the warm hospitality and unforgettable flavors, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back. 🥟♥️“

“While staying at the Fisher House near the VA hospital, I was craving some Chinese food as a change of pace from the delicious local Cuban cuisine. Even though this spot might not look like much from the outside, don't let the age or the location fool you—it is a busy, popular, takeout-only gem.

​I ordered the jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables, the Triple Delight, and some chicken wings. Everything was spot on: the food was fresh, served piping hot, and packaged perfectly.

​The highlight, however, was the service. The gentleman who took my order (I believe the owner) provided exceptional hospitality. He was incredibly welcoming, communicated clearly, and had a great sense of humor. When I was feeling indecisive, he patiently guided me to some great choices.

“Great takeout restaurant the staff especially the young lady the dancers of Phone and is attending these days. It’s amazing. She’s so helpful and cheerful the food. Our families been eating it. Yum Yum for many years at least 30 years and the food is always delicious. How far family is vegetarian and there’s always a lot of delicious veggie offerings and fried tofu and options for everyone lots of gluten-free items as well. Highly recommended.“

“Just a takeout place. I ordered the Mongolian beef with special rice. I asked for it as spicy as possible, but apparently they didn't believe me cause I didn't get my chile rush. But, the portion was very generous and all kinds of meat in the rice. Great value.“

We visited Chop Suey Restaurant (韦氏酒家) after going to the Sex Museum, and it turned out to be a pleasant find in a quiet residential area. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive.

We ordered spicy chicken and braised beef brisket with radish. Portions were generous — easily enough for two people to share. The spicy chicken was decent and very good with rice, while the beef brisket was tender but a bit sweeter than expected for our taste. All dishes came with complimentary steamed rice, and Chinese tea or water was provided for free, which we appreciated.

We noticed many local diners ordering the fried chicken, which looked delicious — unfortunately, we were only two people and couldn’t try more dishes.

If you’re in Miami and craving Chinese food, this is a reliable option and might just surprise you.“

I moved out to the Kendall area and I still prefer this place over the others in my area!

“This is a take-out only restaurant. Order from a window, wait for your food which is cooked fairly quickly. I was so happy I chose to eat at Beijing Restaurant. I paid just $11.50 for beef and broccoli with special fried rice and I got so much food... Enough for 2 meals. The food was very flavorful as well, tender beef and delicious special fried rice. The food was cooked within 15 mins, I waited in my car for the food and before I knew it, it was ready. No complaints. I will DEFINITELY become a regular here.“

“I just found this spot about two weeks ago and I like it a lot. I'm vegetarian so they make it with tofu and they don't put any MSG or eggs in it for me. The lady at the window is very nice once you talk to her and ask her how she's doing but other than that it's a pretty basic establishment. I do recommend it it's on 54th Street right off 27th Avenue Northwest and very convenient if you're in the area.“

It's a hole in the wall, but clean and the lady was pleasant.The portions were decent and if you're not an NFL player it might feed you and another person. Plates arrive before you remember ordering. Drinks get refilled the moment you take the last sip. It’s like they’re watching… even when you can’t see them. At one point, I caught my reflection in the glass—except it didn’t move exactly when I did. Just a second off. Enough to notice. Not enough to explain. And the food? Perfect. Every bite exactly how it should be. Almost like it was made specifically for you… before you even chose it. I left full, satisfied… but uneasy. Still, I’d come back.
