“Visited salt and straws this past Saturday and was pleasantly greeted with a nice friendly smile by Sam, she offered me various samples of the limited addition flavors, she told me to combine creepy crawly critters with honey lavender which to me was the perfect combination i’ve ever tried on this extremely hot and humid day, store very clean and waffle cones were perfectly cooked and crafted, Special and Big Thanks to Sam for your lovely, warm, and infectious energy that made a day feel so special, giving me the boost of energy to motivate me throughout my busy day.“

“This place is amazing. We are regular now. Delfina was amazing. She sowed us different flavors and helped us to make the best decision. We had the Dubai chocolate with vodka ice cream plus a dubai chocolate bar and a flight to go. So so good. We will come back next week to try the new flavor of mezcal with mango! Sounds amazing!!!! “My 2 kids and my wife absolutely loved this place!! Highly recommend. We chose this over Gelato and didnt regret it. This pic is- the cookie monster cookie top with cookies and creme ice cream and a brownie bottom for under $11. You can add sprinkles or chunks of candy bars or broken up cookies for extra fee. Bathrooms were super clean.“

“Refreshing to find ice cream in Miami. Everything is gelato. The flavors are traditional and unique. Good flavors with a good creamy texture. Tells me a decent quality. We had three scoop bowls with hot fudge and various toppings. Comfortable seating and plenty. Overall a good ice cream spot in a world of gelato. The prices a bit steep but it’s a treat.“

“Love Japow! The Strawberry Daifuku flavor is exceptional. One the best shaved ice I've ever had. It's so delicate, creamy, and delicious. The quality of the chocolate, the fresh strawberries , and mini mochi take it over the top. It's nice they use natural flavors. Loved the service. We had no idea what to order and the lady there helped us figure out what we should try by asking us if we preferred fruity or creamy flavors or both. “I've tried many gelato places in south beach and so far this is the best one.
Some of them melt right away and some are a little too sweet. I tried hazelnut and kinder and the creamy texture and sweetness was perfect, also I did not notice it melting right away while eating it outside at around 76° in December. This is not a problem for me, but it's just different than the other places I've been to. I tried a different place the day before that had a 5 star rating and the ice cream was too sweet and it was melting right away. This one should have a 5 star rating so now there's no point in going anywhere else for gelato.“

“I took my mom here for ice cream on a random afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised by its prices and just old school charm. We had soft serve in cones nothing fancy but just as effective (and very affordable) on a hot Miami day. We sat outside (they only have outdoor seating) on one of their little picnic tables and enjoyed people watching. All in all, I'm so happy a little place still like this still exists in Miami.“

“Big fan of Salt & Straw for a while, it is a bit pricey for ice cream, but keep in mind it’s handcrafted and artisanal. Went last night while walking down Lincoln Road and tried the Jack O Lantern Pumpkin Bread, amazing! Nathaniel was spectacular with his help and super friendly. The place is super clean and the service was efficient. Jack O’ Lantern Pumpkin Bread flavor was so good that my family and I scheduled an order of a pint of it today for some guests we have coming over. We also added The Great Candytopia flavor since it’s one of their top rated seasonal flavors. The order came quick, and they were both amazing and the packaging is super cute with napkins and utensils!“

“I’ve been coming to this Dairy Queen since before I was even born. My mom craved Blizzards so badly while pregnant that I’m pretty sure my first kick was just me reaching for a spoon. She knew labor would be as challenging as the Michelin Man’s mother trying to squeeze out her son, but she powered through, and that’s basically how I got my name.
Ice cream has been my ride-or-die meal companion ever since. Lunch, dinner, late-night “oops I blacked out and somehow ended up at the drive-thru” snack, it’s always been there for me. There was a time when I live just one block away (I swear it wasn’t intentional…or was it?), which only proved fate wanted me in a committed relationship with this Dairy Queen. And as with any healthy relationship, faithfulness means regular visits and shamelessly devouring large portions.
I have since moved to another city, and on my last visit I noticed the place had a whole new look. Which leads me to wonder…new ownership? Or just the same loyal crew with a glow-up? Either way, I approve.
Bottom line: if ice cream is therapy, this Dairy Queen is my therapist. Only difference? This one never charges me $200 an hour, just a couple bucks and maybe my dignity when I lick the cup clean in the parking lot.“

I was able to taste many flavors, so I can choose my favorite one for a purchase and ended up getting Dulce de Leche one!
