El Pilón del Patio offers authentic Latin flavor with a great homemade touch. The service is warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. The music creates a fun atmosphere. Guests love the Latin variety of Dominican and Puertorican food. The Tres Golpes was literally perfection, and the Oxtails were tender, good quantity, and tasty. The pork was slightly under-seasoned, but the remaining dishes were quite flavorful. The fish can be requested lightly fried. An adult pasta can be shared with kids and served individually. The bathroom was super, super clean. The decor is appealing, and the ambiance was pleasant. The waiter was attentive and amiable. Prices were worth the portion and authenticity. The initial wait to be greeted and seated was a reason for a four-star rating. A group entered to set up for a birthday celebration, and the movement of chairs and tables created a significant amount of noise. It is a lovely restaurant to enjoy a good meal.
