“I came here really early the other morning to pick up a bunch of donuts for vendors at Pioneer Days. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They readily had what I was looking for and put it together quickly. The donuts were big hit as always.“
“Came in this morning on Saturday Feb 10th. Noticed they were short staffed. I heard 2 people had called out. There were 3 people working, two females and a male. The drive through was extremely busy and the inside was packed. These 3 did amazing. They kept everything running smooth despite the chaos. I believe one was named Brittany. The female taking orders was extremely polite as well. Previously working in the service industry I know how hectic it can be short staffed. They did a great job and worked very well as a team.“
“Dunkin' founder William Rosenberg derived inspiration for his coffee shop from people who loved to dunk their donuts in coffee. In 1948 he opened his first coffee and donut shop in Quincy, Massachusetts. Named Open Kettle, it served coffee, pastries and sandwiches. Two years later, Dunkin' Donuts was officially born, and four years later, he had five locations open. The original Dunkin' Donuts is still standing in Quincy today and has been restored with a 1950's retro design. Today Dunkin sells 60 cups of coffee every second. I was in Lake Wales on a Sunday afternoon and desperate for a cup of coffee, Of course nothing was open. I finally found a Dunkin' but I was a little confused when I didn't see it. Shocker, the Lake Wales Dunkin's is inside the Walmart. Dunkin' to the rescue. I was able to grab my large iced mocha coffee and the afternoon slump was averted. The store was cutely decorated for fall too. I haven't been a fan of their donuts since they stopped making them in store in the early 2000's. They never seem very fresh but the coffee hit the spot.“
