Polo Tropical is a chain like most chains, some stores are better than others. We usually stop in every other week or so. IMHO they always have a ton of chicken on those grills. You can generally count on your bird being cooked enough. That being said it's often a little too dry for my liking. I find the pork dishes to be pretty tasty.

While service can sometimes be hit-or-miss, the food generally makes up for it. Recently, some customers noted issues like running out of chicken and longer wait times for orders. There have also been complaints about the change in the fresh salsa, with some customers expressing disappointment over the new jarred salsa. Despite these concerns, many appreciate that Pollo Tropical tries to keep prices down amid inflation, though they noted the chicken can occasionally be overcooked.
