“Food was fantastic! Fresh quality ingredients. Also a lot of food for the price. I could only eat half of it. Teas were also amazing! My kids loved the tea slushes. My picky eater even enjoyed the kids chicken hibachi. That's saying a lot. When we went in to pick up the food they were very friendly and more than willing to answer all my questions. Golden Inn used to be our favorite place and finally decided to give Ayoki a try. So glad we did because now we have a new favorite place!“

“I would say this is the best sushi you'll find in New Tampa. The staff is always very nice, and they have yet to mess up a to-go order that I have placed. I have been going here for about 5 years now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.“

“In an attempt to have a relaxing lunch before our long drive home, we stumbled upon this Hibachi grill and sushi place. The food was good, though not the best hibachi I’ve ever had. The all-you-can-eat menu was a bit confusing. It seemed that if one person ordered it, everyone had to as well. I didn’t like that because I wasn’t in the mood for it, though the person I was with might have preferred it since it was only $3 more for his meal and appetite. Still, that didn’t ruin our experience; it was a good value for what we received. Perhaps on a different occasion, the endless food option would have been more appealing. There were a few highlights—the mushroom soup was delicious and easily the best thing on the menu, making up for the slightly overcooked shrimp. Overall, it was a good lunch, but if you’re looking for the best, this place isn’t it!“

“We went there on Saturday , August 31,2024. Food was good- portions large.We brought some what we didn;'t finish, but customer service sucked. The guy was not accommodating at all. I asked for a bit of rice vinegar on the side and he was tripping. I understand if he didn't have it but it was his attitude and demeanor. - almost rude.
Part of my bamboo shoots were fridge cold in the soup which means they didn't soak in the broth enough to warm up. Edamame bowl was huge and we also didn;t finish that. Good taste, overall. (Unable to upload photos at the moment but will retry).“

“Very nice service. They bring out a clear soup first and ask what you would like to drink. We had a sushi roll and a hibachi dinner with chicken and a udon noodle dinner with lots of vegetables, everything was delicious and the service was excellent, glad we tried this place.“

“We got seated and chef thought it was funny to bark like a dog while chopping up the meat. I was so discussed. I have been to Asia and saw the dogs hanging in the market it was awful and I have 3 Chinese children. I spoke to Manager who seemed to blow me off like eating dog is normal. Do you serve dog? Hope not remember this is American. My family left I could not eat after that and it’s not funny to pretend to be chopping up a dog.“

“Spend 13 dollars at Mc Dump or here. Hmmm..... For the money and quality, you can't beat this place. I always go for the Hibachi Chicken dinner. It's good, fairly clean, a lot of food and well balanced. Comes with soup, rice and vegetables besides the tender chucken; all for the same cost as a super size #1 at Mc Dump. Highly recommended.“

“I got the scallops entree with veggies and brown rice. It was made very well and had tons of flavor. The entree came with a “salad” that consisted of hard, yellow chunks of iceberg lettuce hearts. You shouldn’t disrespect your customers, like that. You could’ve left that part out because it screams cheap and mediocre. Elevate or just don’t serve it with your opinion of a salad. Thanks.“

“Food is amazing and well worth the price of all-you-care-to-eat. The restaurant can get busy/loud at times if there is a group at the hibachi table. The service during my visit was sadly poor as our server forgot orders, prioritized other tables and in the end we paid the bill early and left as our server was no longer available.“

“We wanted to try a new Japanese Restaurant and decided to start here. The area was very clean and welcoming. The hostess greeted and sat us. The booth where we sat was very cozy and private. Our drink order was taken, then we ordered appetizers. We had edamame and spring rolls. Both were very good! Then we ordered 3 different sashimi’s and maguro. The waitress was very kind and attentive. We loved it and will be back!“
