“The picanha was delicious! Cooked perfectly great cuts and seasoned to perfection. The rice and beans we got as a side was also great. “After seeing this restaurant on Facebook, I wanted to come in and try their Birra Tacos with Consome. We were greated warmly by Mauricio, who when told it was our first time there was very patient and explained a couple of things to us. He was able to do a "special request" bean burrito for a picky eater in the group. The Birra 🌮 🌮 🌮 were so good. Meat was so tender and tasty, and the console topped it off perfectly. I'll be back to try some of their daily deals, and some other items that look so good on the menu. No complaints from this first time guest. “My first experience dining here, read the reviews and they sounded good so decided to book a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant had to park four blocks away parking is atrocious. The hostess was busy talking on her phone, never a good sign. Sat down finally, decided on an appetizer and some entrees the waiter came back and said they were out of the appetizer, started off bad. Very limited fish dishes, ordered a steak dish and a fish dish,nothing spectacular and it was tough we did not say anything to the waiter the whole situation from beginning to end a total disappointment, couldn't wait to leave, actually felt nauseated after leaving after eating my fish with risotto, it was so greasy. Very loud place hard to have a conversation.I don't know what the hype is about this place because the prices do not match the food quality or the presentation. Would not recommend nor would I go back ever. The whole vibe was uninspiring and the atmosphere was just not a good experience or fun. I guess if you're a drinker this place might be fun but if you're not it makes waiting for your entree for 45 minutes more excruciating, was not impressed about anything about this place and I wanted to be. Note to manager find a Hostess that seems like she's interested in seating people and not talking on the phone. I could honestly say I had better food at the gas station on the way into town, the homemade empanadas there were amazing. All I can say to people is beware of reviews you'll get burned I know I have on several occasions. I've run into people who absolutely love this place while I've been in town, wish I could say the same. maybe I was there on an off night but waiting 45 minutes for an entree when three of their tables were seated and served before I was seemed a little strange. the wait staff seem tired and uninspired.“

“I visited Hawkers for the 2nd time 2 weeks ago. I brought another group of friends there to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthdays. Once again it was a great experience. Chef Reggie remembered me from my last visit. Manager Tom welcomed me back. Chef Benjamin came out to meet my friends and I. He wished the birthday girl happy birthday. Our waitress Dakota was very friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel special, and thanked me for coming back again and introducing my friends to the restaurant. We enjoyed the food, our drinks and the vibe of the place. A+ for customer service, hospitality and food. I will definitely come back again. I may even bring a new set of friends with me next time around.“

“Delicious meal from start to finish. The brussel sprout appetizer was phenomenal. My main dish was the chicken pot pie.....so perfect I ate the whole thing. My roommate had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which I've had before and it's out of this world. We finished it off with an Apple Praline dessert which was tasty and not too sweet. If you haven't been here yet, you must give it a try.“

“We usually steer clear of Greek Restaurants because they rarely have traditional flavors that we are used to at home…Chris’ Taverna pleasantly surprised us and we chose to eat here twice during our trip! My daughter said she enjoyed the octopus more than she did in Greece! The food is plentiful and delicious! The shrimp saganaki is perfect and the meat platter is huge and delicious!“

If you’re spending the day on the beach and get hungry, this place makes it really easy. You can call ahead and have your pizza ready for a quick pickup, or stop in and order if you want to sit down for a bit.

“Second time here. First time I had the Mezze salad (was adventurous and very filling to my surprise). The second time here now I am having the chicken Cesar salad. I can honestly say this should be the standard for all Cesar salads. Big shavings of Parmesan cheese, robust chicken bites. Kudos to Leandra who made the bomb salad. I washed it down with a strawberry and pineapple lemonade which I mixed together because they do come separate. (My own Arnold Palmer) I usually stay away from sweets but this is a must! Also, the salad came with a complimentary bread; not exactly sure what it was but was kinda crispy and toasty. Place is impeccably clean but I must say the place is colder than most places. Last time I had to finish the salad outside to ‘thaw-out’ jk but was kinda cold. Will be back…“

When things were hard she kept a great composure, great professionalism, and kept the customers up to date on their incoming orders. She was so kind, and so thoughtful and this is my first time going there as of today. If this is where she wants to be she truly deserves a manager position.
