“All I can say is… WOW. I’ve eaten here more than a handful of times, and their food is 10/10 every time. From the fresh food on the bar, to the grill, to the empanadas; everything tastes so FRESH! Not to mention the service and people here are so kind, lovely, and personable. They have become such a staple in Broward and downtown Fort Lauderdale. “After being annoyed at the ridiculously expensive Starbucks near my hotel I walked 25 minutes here most days to grab a quick coffee and snack. The coffee is nice and smooth and the ham and cheese croissant was surprisingly very good. After only being there a few times the person working recognized me which was nice, lol. Even though it wasn’t explicitly on the menu they were able to give me cold foam for my cold brew. I’m glad I found this tiny little cafe :)“

“We hit the restaurant during a slow time so had great service and food was served very quickly!! My family enjoyed the food. Im a bit fussy about pancakes and found mine a bit flat but I ate them anyway!! They were perfect for the other family members! Loved that we could upgrade to maple syrup for a tiny bit extra!! “Been ordering lunch for 16 years now Commercial point cafe has the best food as it is always prepared fresh always hot and delivered fast and has a scrumptious variety on their menu of home favorites to gourmet creations. Try the cajun fries you'll get hooked try everything and you'll be hooked. you wont be sorry.“

I toggled with the menu as there were great options, I considered the Salmon Sweet Potato Bowl, their version Avocado toast , and the Shakshuka!

Here’s everything I got and how I’d rate it!

Steak - Cooked Medium (wasn’t as HOT as I would have preferred although it was cooked to perfection! My first time having hollandaise sauce and the way that they pair it with their chimichurri on that steak is phenomenal. 4/5

Cheddar Grits - Hot and Good! 5/5

Cheddar Biscuit - Great but hard and cold
(it’s 2:30 in the afternoon and they close at 3) I get it! If I had it devoured it, I would’ve definitely brought it home, wrapped it in a wet towel and put it in the microwave for five seconds. 4/5

Cold Pressed Juice (The Orange One) ehh not my flavor but super fresh! I’d love to try the other two flavors! 3/5

Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful I may be biased because Green is my favorite color and they have a most beautiful green backsplash with a lot of plants old pictures and I just love how the kitchen is right upfront with a small bar that you can sit and watch the amazing chefs and sous chefs prep they’re catering and to go orders. 10/10

All in all, I will definitely be back!

Her name was Dash and true to her name!

Greeted me immediately, noticed as I placed my menu down to collect my order, we chatted quickly about my potential options but she was spot on when we both agreed Steak and Eggs is the way to go!

Even at there tail end of there shift I had to ask what time the place closed because I realized I was in a diner.

The entire staff seems happy, complaint and eager to share the success of the happiness of their guests!

“This coffee shop managed to perfectly blend a comfortable, casual comfortable atmosphere with a distinctly high end feel. It is attached to but separate from the AC Hotel at Dania Pointe. Outside seating is available and there are ample parking options. The coffee is wonderful and there is a FAR above average selection of dessert items, breakfast and lunch fare. Th selection incorporates very typical coffee shop accompaniments alongside some refreshingly elevated options. The staff were all welcoming and willing to answer questions and make suggestions. If you are in town for business this would be a great spot for some remote work, people watching and great bites/beverages. If you are just in need of a quick coffee also the perfect place. I look forward to my next visit“

“Great first experience, I called in my order for pickup and to my surprise they called me back in less than 10 minutes to let me know the order was ready. The food was really good I just added a little extra salt and pepper to my liking, and it was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here again.

UPDATE: Ordered again on July 12th, through Door Dash and whoever was in the kitchen PLAYED big time. The eggs look like a ribbon and it’s burnt. The sausage they gave me this time was different from the first time and it taste funny, I didn’t like it. I prefer the other sausage. The grits were good and the fruit punch was good too.“
