Architecturally, the venue is a triumph. The design framework is visually arresting and creates an immediate sense of place.

The front-of-house execution was flawless. The staff were radiant, exceptionally attentive, and possessed a deep technical knowledge of the menu. Service pacing was immaculate—anticipatory rather than reactive.

From a menu-engineering standpoint, the balance between land and sea protein is brilliantly executed. It is inclusive enough to satisfy a discerning palate while remaining accessible to more conservative diners.

Engrossed in high-level conversation, we surrendered ordering autonomy to our server and requested a bespoke, multi-course selection. She delivered a masterclass in curation.

While the visuals speak volumes, they only hint at the palate's reality. The flavor profiles and execution were exceptional. Each dish demonstrated meticulous presentation and a level of finesse that beautifully matched the flavors. Portion scaling was precise, allowing a party of six to share comfortably with enough for a second bite.

The standout of the night was undeniably the Chilean sea bass. It was executed to absolute succulent perfection, bound by a savory glaze that masterfully elevated—rather than masked—the pristine, inherent profile of the fish.

On my next visit, I plan to explore the raw bar and precision sushi rolls. A technical note for the finish: do not skip dessert. The donuts are decadently elite.

“WOW! I can not tell you how long I have waited to try this place. We are from out of state (NC) and were suppose to go last May. Thankfully we finally made it here. The dishes were fantastic. The best Asian American food I have had - and I'm Asian. The server was so nice and we even talked about some Asian culture while we dined. I had their Wonton soup and Spring rolls for an appetizer. The soup was tasty and a large bowl of soup. Each chicken wonton was very good. The spring rolls were cooked just right along with the dipping sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My main course I had 2 sushi rolls. The Rainbow Dragon roll and the tempura tuna roll. Both were so good and each had 12 pieces. The presentation of the rolls was nice too. I couldn’t stop eating all the food it was so good. Service was fast, and very pleasant. But inside you will find a high-quality Sushi/hibachi Restaurant with very decent prices and great drinks. “So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place.
