“First time at this place; the restaurant was clean, the food was outstanding, and the waiter (Brandon) was very attentive. Then again, there were only two or three other tables seated. Awkward ambiance for the first five+/- minutes because there was no music playing and the TVs were off. Finally, the music came on and the dining experience improved ten-fold. Meanwhile, the TVs were never turned on. Not a big deal, in fact... might even be cool to have a place with no TVs, where people are forced to interact with one another. But I digress, if you choose to have televisions in your establishment, keep them on; there's a lot you can do with them, not just have it on TV programming. Anyways, this place is absolutely fantastic and has the potential to be one of the area's best restaurants. I'll definitely be back!“

“La Costa Restaurant is hands down the best place I’ve tried in Broward County. I ordered the fries pork chop and it was absolute perfection crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. It came with Mexican rice and tostones, which made the meal even better. Everything was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. This place is a must-try. Amazing food and a great experience overall! My waitress Flor was amazing!“

“A great place to grab any meal. The employees are very kind and go above and beyond to make each visit perfect. We came from out of town and stumbled across this gem. The best fajitas I have ever had. Breakfast fare was just as good. I believe our group ate there four times in one week for the consistency and quality that we experienced.“

“I honestly do not know where to start the food is amazing the owners are just incredible very sweet and very hospitable there is live music every Saturday Antuan Nunez is the singer. We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! My son had a delicious cheeseburger with fries and he loved it!!! If I could give them 1000 stars I would we had a great time and I am looking forward to going there again!!!! “On New Year's day we stop by while waiting for a phone to be programmed at AT&T. Unfortunately they were closed, but we vowed we would come back the menu looked interesting. Glad we came back the food was very good the portions were large and it had to be some of the most authentic Mexican food I've had in the area.“

“This little gem is in my neighborhood and it’s been at least 16-17 years since I first walked in the door. The food is excellent, it’s a family owned and operated business, you can tell they care and they’re very real people. The mom’s demeanor when dealing with trouble customers reminds me a lot of the tattoo shops I’ve worked in, they are not a chain so they don’t have to suffer stupidity. I don’t think anything there is cooked off site, bread nor pastries. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal there. The daughter, who is only there part time now is charming, welcoming and among the most beautiful people I’ve ever laid eyes on. Oh! The prices. Not bad at all. Not dirt cheap as Cuban food goes, but definitely affordable. Places like this don’t seem to exist much outside of Little Havana, the Caribbean and Central America. This kind of restaurant/diner is part of the reason I fell in love with South Florida.“

“I discovered this café while browsing Google Maps, and I’ll admit it was a little tricky to find at first. There’s no exterior signage indicating it’s a café, so I had to call the number listed on Google to get directions. Once inside the Glades building at Sawgrass Technology Park, though, it’s worth the effort!

The interior is spacious and filled with natural light, making it a great spot if you want to work or just relax with a coffee. When I visited, it was quiet and peaceful—perfect for focus or casual conversation.

There’s also plenty of outdoor seating in a lovely courtyard with a fountain and gazebo, offering calming water views. Overall, a hidden gem for coffee, work, or just enjoying a serene break.“

“We were on our way to a seafood shack when I found Casa Playa was a closer walk. The waiter let us know that Happy Hour was at the bar, and our bartender Diego was very friendly and super attentive. He made a killer mojito and all of our food came out quickly and no less deliciously. It’s not “fine dining “ but we had a few appetizers and shrimp skewers with that perfect char-grill taste- What a lovely surprise.“

“A Taco is fantastic. The food and drinks were unique and delicious, the service was great, and everything was more than affordable. We had a family dinner here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The Plantain Chicharron and the mixed Peruvian chicken taco/Bao were my favorites. There are asian influences here through the Peruvian side of the fusion that make this place very unique. Highly recommend giving it a try.“
