We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! My son had a delicious cheeseburger with fries and he loved it!!! If I could give them 1000 stars I would we had a great time and I am looking forward to going there again!!!! “Me apena dejar un mal review pero en serio que es el peor servicio al cliente que visto en mi vida, no se trata de ser amable y sonreír, se trata de solucionar si tienen un inconveniente, y es la segunda vez que me sucede, no puede ser que llames a pedir una orden para recoger, llegues después de 20 minutos, y te hagan seguir esperando, por una hamburguesa, y le pregunté a la persona encargada si se iban a demorar, y sale y se pone hablar por teléfono, no sé qué trataba de solucionar por teléfono, cuando era cuestión de preguntar en la cocina, y ser sincera desde el comienzo y decir que hay un inconveniente, y me hubiese ido y normal, pero no después de qué ya pagué después de qué yo esperé me dice de qué van a se 20 min mas, Quién va a esperar una hora por una hamburguesa?????? Lo que me fastidia es la falta de seriedad, porque desde un comienzo me debió advertir, hasta llamada para decirme que tenían demoras, o por último ya cuando estuve ahí decirme lo que estaba sucediendo, y no dejarme esperando con excusas. (Y solo habían un Pat de mesas) 2da vez que me sucede.“

“First time at this place; the restaurant was clean, the food was outstanding, and the waiter (Brandon) was very attentive. Then again, there were only two or three other tables seated. Awkward ambiance for the first five+/- minutes because there was no music playing and the TVs were off. Finally, the music came on and the dining experience improved ten-fold. Meanwhile, the TVs were never turned on. Not a big deal, in fact... might even be cool to have a place with no TVs, where people are forced to interact with one another. But I digress, if you choose to have televisions in your establishment, keep them on; there's a lot you can do with them, not just have it on TV programming. Anyways, this place is absolutely fantastic and has the potential to be one of the area's best restaurants. I'll definitely be back!“

“We dined at Casa Playa last night for a family get together and it was perfect! The ambience is open, contemporary and serene. Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass, blonde wood furniture, bright white walls, and a colorful palm mural on one wall, is welcoming and confident. The artwork is in the food. We started with Peruvian style calamari which was crisply coated with an audible crunch. The chicken and beef Argentinian empanadas were baked pockets of lusciously seasoned meat. Other appetizers include crispy pork belly, spicy tuna tartar guacamole, and fresh ceviche. Several of us had the Ropa Vieja which our grandson delighted in telling us meant "old clothes." The flank steak was slow cooked in a well spiced tomato sauce with onions and peppers, then shredded to soak up all of the lively flavors. It was served with a mound of white rice, tasty black beans, and chunks of sweet maduros. Other dishes enjoyed by our family included shrimp, chimichurri steak, and mojo marinated pork.
The service was thoughtful and attentive and the evening was very enjoyable.
Casa Playa celebrates the culinary excellence and ingredients of Latin fusion. And they do it very well.“

“I have been to Casa Borinquen a couple of times. First of all, both times, I started with an Alcapuria. Hands down, they have the best Alcapuria I have ever had. It is nice and crispy on the outside and the inside is super flavorful with the right amount of filling. It is worth going to Casa Borinquen for the Alcapuria, but wait. The monfongo is also awesome. I had it once with "carne frita" and then with "bistec encebollado", both were great. Go to Casa Borinquen, you will love the food and the quaint ambiance of the restaurant, and their friendly staff, and you will keep going back!“
