“When I first started to go there, the food was a lot better, and the portionsizes were huge. Lately, it's been off. I eat there at least 3-4 times a month, and something has changed. I will continue to patronize because I feel it will make its way back to the standard I know and love.“

“First time at this place; the restaurant was clean, the food was outstanding, and the waiter (Brandon) was very attentive. Then again, there were only two or three other tables seated. Awkward ambiance for the first five+/- minutes because there was no music playing and the TVs were off. Finally, the music came on and the dining experience improved ten-fold. Meanwhile, the TVs were never turned on. Not a big deal, in fact... might even be cool to have a place with no TVs, where people are forced to interact with one another. But I digress, if you choose to have televisions in your establishment, keep them on; there's a lot you can do with them, not just have it on TV programming. Anyways, this place is absolutely fantastic and has the potential to be one of the area's best restaurants. I'll definitely be back!“

“A great place to grab any meal. The employees are very kind and go above and beyond to make each visit perfect. We came from out of town and stumbled across this gem. The best fajitas I have ever had. Breakfast fare was just as good. I believe our group ate there four times in one week for the consistency and quality that we experienced.“

“I honestly do not know where to start the food is amazing the owners are just incredible very sweet and very hospitable there is live music every Saturday Antuan Nunez is the singer. We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! My son had a delicious cheeseburger with fries and he loved it!!! If I could give them 1000 stars I would we had a great time and I am looking forward to going there again!!!! “This little gem is in my neighborhood and it’s been at least 16-17 years since I first walked in the door. The food is excellent, it’s a family owned and operated business, you can tell they care and they’re very real people. The mom’s demeanor when dealing with trouble customers reminds me a lot of the tattoo shops I’ve worked in, they are not a chain so they don’t have to suffer stupidity. I don’t think anything there is cooked off site, bread nor pastries. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal there. The daughter, who is only there part time now is charming, welcoming and among the most beautiful people I’ve ever laid eyes on. Oh! The prices. Not bad at all. Not dirt cheap as Cuban food goes, but definitely affordable. Places like this don’t seem to exist much outside of Little Havana, the Caribbean and Central America. This kind of restaurant/diner is part of the reason I fell in love with South Florida.“

“⭐️🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 La Costa – Fort Lauderdale We went to La Costa for Taco Tuesday and it was delicious! We tried the El Pollo, Al Pastor, Birria, and Carnitas tacos, and honestly, everything was amazing. Our favorites were definitely the Birria and the Al Pastor — especially with that touch of pineapple! We also loved the homemade Rojo and Verde sauces that paired perfectly with the tacos. The onions were slightly sautéed, which gave them such great flavor, and they gave plenty of lime too (always a plus!). We loved the presentation — the tacos were served on a banana leaf over a wooden board, which made it look great and feel like a special touch. It was an awesome Taco Tuesday experience, but honestly, we’d go back any day of the week. If you haven’t tried La Costa yet, you’re missing out! 🌮“

“We had a great time trying out Casa Playa on Fort Lauderdale Beach! Just a block away from the ocean, this spot is gorgeous, with outdoor seating and open-air bar seats. The Menu is Latin fusion with a lot of Peruvian influence. The Peruvian Ceviche was spot on. The Grilled Octopus was cooked perfectly. The whole fried fish was crunchy and juicy! Hard to stop eating it. One of my favorites is the Jalea, which is deep fried seafood platter.. So Good! The cocktails and wines were also very refreshing! The Pisco Playa is their take on a Pisco sour, and it was delicious as well! This is a great spot for lunch, dinner or just a couple drinks at the bar. I recommend you stop by next time you’re on Fort Lauderdale Beach. And a special thanks to Reina, Joey and Geraldo for treating us great!“

We had a family dinner here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The Plantain Chicharron and the mixed Peruvian chicken taco/Bao were my favorites.
