“This was the first time at this restaurant in Davie, Florida as I have been to the one in Doral, Florida. My wife and I decided to stop for lunch, we sat down and Dubraska was our waitress. She took our order, which came quickly, and the food was delicious! Everything was very good, in fact, had to take some home. “Amazing. I highly recommend the all you can eat for $34.99! Best $35 that I’ve ever spent on food. Basically a 6 course meal, and if you want more, then you can order more! Exceeded all expectations that I had going in. I drove a hour to get here and it was well worth the drive. I will do it again. Everything was made to order and top notch! “This little gem is in my neighborhood and it’s been at least 16-17 years since I first walked in the door. The food is excellent, it’s a family owned and operated business, you can tell they care and they’re very real people. The mom’s demeanor when dealing with trouble customers reminds me a lot of the tattoo shops I’ve worked in, they are not a chain so they don’t have to suffer stupidity. I don’t think anything there is cooked off site, bread nor pastries. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal there. The daughter, who is only there part time now is charming, welcoming and among the most beautiful people I’ve ever laid eyes on. Oh! The prices. Not bad at all. Not dirt cheap as Cuban food goes, but definitely affordable. Places like this don’t seem to exist much outside of Little Havana, the Caribbean and Central America. This kind of restaurant/diner is part of the reason I fell in love with South Florida.“

There’s no exterior signage indicating it’s a café, so I had to call the number listed on Google to get directions. Once inside the Glades building at Sawgrass Technology Park, though, it’s worth the effort!

The interior is spacious and filled with natural light, making it a great spot if you want to work or just relax with a coffee. When I visited, it was quiet and peaceful—perfect for focus or casual conversation.

There’s also plenty of outdoor seating in a lovely courtyard with a fountain and gazebo, offering calming water views. Overall, a hidden gem for coffee, work, or just enjoying a serene break.“
