“We attended Kelly’s Half Shell Pub on Sunday March 3rd 2024, the 4 of us had Guinness one of us was just introduced to it and love it. The pint were excellent! We had clams, Shepard pie, fish and chips along with lobster poutine, all served piping hot and delicious no complaints at all. The portions were big and left us full. We did split a key lime pie and it was also amazing. The best part of our night was our server Erica. H, she was on point all night checking in with us and quick wit and banter to boot! I will have to say in all my dinning experiences she rates number 1 in service and talent. Kelly’s is very lucky to have her around their tables. I hope she got her Strawberry cream donut! Thanks for a great evening.Dietary restrictions: Very diligent on making us feel comfortable with a guest with allergies.“

“The most unassuming place you will find. My father in law brought me there (he lives somewhat close) and by the outside I was hesitant. It just looks old and run down. Get inside (cash only also beer and wine only), he had raved about the steamed fresh shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning and it did not disappoint!! WOW! A meal in itself. Some COLD beer and nice views. I definitely recommend it. We went during a storm and stayed dry inside. There is great outdoor seating on a sunny day. I also had the clam chowder and while it wasn’t bad, it was not something I would go there for. But the shrimp, yes I will be back! So 4 stars due to the chower. Go try this gem!“

“The steamed shrimp was bathed in a garlic-butter sauce and was outstanding in flavor! The mahi mahi fish taco was topped with mango chunks and cheese creating a nice contrasting flavor. The seating is rustic adding to a great meal experience. Overall, we all agreed that the Wild Sassa food was a great find and the dishes cooked are out of this world. We give them 3 Michelin stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️“

“Near my hometown! Delicious FRESH seafood daily! We took a fishing charter and brought in our catch to have it cooked up for us. Trout was cooked 3 ways: Grilled, Blackened and Fried! We had it cut up to share as an appetizer. Food was amazing! I had the Fisherman’s Platter, our friends had Stone Crab Claws - Jumbo. Also ordered by the table were fish tacos - choice of fish was the snapper and also a Snapper Dinner. We will be back! Daytime seating by the water is also beautiful!“

“We have lived in citrus County for nearly 9 years, and today was the day we tried Dan's for the first time. Let me say that we are super picky when it comes to our seafood and don't care for many of the seafood places around here...But Dan's was a pleasant surprise and they have just gained some more local customer's!!! The seafood was cooked perfectly, the seasoning was perfect, the server was super attentive and nice. This is not be our last trip!!!“

“We had an amazing experience at Margarita Grill, but what truly made the night unforgettable was our server, Melanie. Her hospitality was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. The food itself was delicious, but Melanie's service truly blew us away. Our entire family was impressed!“

“Ate there twice in 2 weeks. Love the rustic atmosphere and beautiful views of the Withalchoochee River. Food was great....catfish is to die for. Not a huge fan of their Cajun spice/sauce (too tomatoey) best conch fritters we've had in a bit. Go, relax and “

“Fantastic experience!! Top quality food and service with the most comfortable “hometown” atmosphere that we have found in this area! Loved the falafel salad, grilled zucchini wrap, and dessert lumpia. Restaurant is vegetarian friendly. Also, you are able to sit outside with your dog, if they like to tag along. And Christine was a fantastic bar tender / waitress- really enjoyed meeting her. Excited to go back!Vegetarian options: Just from memory there were: pita chips with aioli sauce, pita chips with hummus, veggie lumpia, falafel salad, grilled zucchini wrap, noodle/rice bowl with seasoned vegetables, and dessert lumpia.“

“Food was excellent and so was the service! They have outdoor seating and we were able to bring my dog. They even brought out a bowl of water for her and she had her own plate of scrambled eggs. Will definitely eat here again when visiting Homosassa!“

“I come here for the atmosphere and to hang out and enjoy it while my son plays on the playground. Usually I just have bar food but wanted to try a salad this time. It was a tropical salad that had very fresh greens with sweet, tropical fruit but it was lacking something savory. The whole salad was just sweet with a sweet vinegrette. A feta or goat cheese would have made it amazing, I think. My son got the Mac n cheese and the homemade chips were very chewy and overly seasoned. They could have been delicious if cooked longer and weren't over seasoned.Still love this place and the ambiance.“

“Very busy and pretty short staffed. The food was very good. I had the grouper "Ruben" and was very satisfied. We also ate raw oysters (from Virginia?) not local which was a bummer. But good. As well as clam chowder. Very good. Overall a nice clean place to have lunch.Parking: Gravel area but plenty of spaces.“

“Great food and service. The setting is beautiful. I was with a group of 15+ and they got the food out in record time. Everyone loved their dish. Their fries were really good. I had the coconut shrimp tacos and they were amazing!!!Food & drinks: Great food and extensive menuNoteworthy details: Outside dining on the Homassa River. View was beautiful. We did a tour after lunch on the "Island Girl." It was a great experience. I highly recommend the restaurant and tour! I didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the accommodations.“

“We just started going here for pizza because Crystal river is lacking in that area. So far we have had good service and the pizzas are pretty darn good. Place is nice and quiet even when they are busy. We haven't taken advantage of the BYOB yet. Tonight we may even try something besides their pizza. I think that this place could make a great Detroit style pizza.. It's the square deep dish with the crust that goes up the sides and the sauce is layered onto the top with the cheese on the sides and burned to a crisp..“

“Loved the 12 grilled scallops with broccoli and fries. The 1 lb. of fish and chips allowed substitution for a cup of clam chowder that was creamy and clam filled. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table and a longer for the meal. Drinks came in a reasonable amount of time. This place has indoor and outdoor tables. Lots of people maybe because of spring break.“

“This restaurant has it all: great food, live music, festive atmosphere, the staff is attentive, and the owner is incredibly hard working. I got their shrimp flatbread, and it was superb! I was also tempted by the pickle spears, because that is the superior shape for fried pickles, but I was alone and can’t eat that much. This is a must-visit, and one of your only “late night” options… lucky you!“

“If you're tired of the corporate restaurants in Spring Hill, take a short drive north for fantastic food and service. Georgie served us with smiles and care. Very clean establishment, they got a game room and pool tables. Now, for the best part, the food. We had oysters Rockefeller and fresh fried mushrooms. Both were great. Fresh made salad, how often do you see that? Steak and shrimp and fish and chips for entres. The meals were just plain good. Also, all the sauces are made in-house. Well worth the short drive to enjoy a fine meal and service.“
