“Tatiana was our waitress and she was awesome. Super helpful made great recommendations. Gave service with a smile. Also enjoyed lady at front desk nice greeting a smile as we came I and as we were leaving. Error in food was not that bad. A+ on the spinach crab dip loved it so much. We got some to go to have tomorrow at home. One in our group said the chicken sandwich is smaller than what she’s had there in the past but still was delicious. Shrimp was good after we got our original order the guest said delicious in fact. Muffalatta sandwich bun was cold. The inside of the sandwich was so cold. It was cold in the middle. with thin thin slice of ice in the middle of the sandwich coming from Louisiana that one disappointed Me. It had all of the right taste in the sandwich.”

This is even when there are only a few people in the restaurant! So it's not about being busy.”

“Visited for the first time last night and really enjoyed ourselves. Somewhat limited menu for entrees, but an extensive lineup of proper Southern sides that made it hard to decide on just a few. Our solution for that was to pick a few for diinner, then get takeouts of several more. 🙂 Everything was delicious, with a special shoutout to the cook for the fried chicken. This is not fast food because they're cooking it up fresh and hot. Soooo good! The place is kind of small with not too many tables, but they also do takeout. From what we saw last night, they do quite a bit of takeout and so best to call ahead. The employees are very friendly, the food is great, and we'll be back!”

“THE 4th GREAT CATERED EVENT FROM OAKWOOD WITH ERIC VILLAGERS RUN don't walk past the other Oakwood Smokehouse restaurants near you! There is a difference and it's the General Manager and Catering Guru Eric Eyerly! You will have to drive 20 mins. further BUT you will be seated immediately and they do not run out of ribs etc. Their servers are kind and efficient and the food is outstanding. CATERING for 10 or 200?? Having worked with Eric for 10 years you will not have better food at a better price, or happier diners. They go way above and beyond to deliver a great experience. Thanks Eric and Oakwood you make us look good!”

We also tried the AI IPA, which was equally delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of bratwurst during our visit, so we didn’t eat here. That gives us another reason to return. The staff and brewers were incredibly friendly — we ended up chatting with them for quite a while. Had a great time and will be back!”

The bacon was still warm when I got the food home from being cooked to order. I enjoyed browsing around the store’s eclectic shelves while I waited. I picked up some old fashioned candy for my kids. Happy to have this new addition in our neighborhood!”

“I had been skeptical to try here bc i hadn't heard much about it, and there were not many reviews, but I found myself close today during lunch time l, called ahead and it was ready quickly . Got the genreal tso lunch combo . It was straight forward, good chinese takeout, just the right amount of spice and the family that owns it is nice . If I had to pick 1 thing to criticize the chicken they use for general tso has alot of breading vs chicken ratio , but it was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Will come back to try more:)”
