“I love the food, very fresh and delicious. I have become a regular customer, average 3 times a week. I have been asking for more beans than rice because I’m on a GLP1 and the beans are better for me than the rice. That seems to be an issue for whatever reason. It always seems to be a bit or miss. I’m also charged a different amount almost every time I go…???
My only real complaint is that if you want the skin that is COOKED on the breast, you have to pay for it!!! I asked the owner what they do with it, and he told me that it gets thrown out!! What?!?! Why not give it to the customer since it is a part of the chicken?? Can you imagine going to a restaurant and being told that you have to pay for the skin?? It’s almost enough reason to not go back. It’s simply the point of the matter. My main reason for the 4 stars.

“I ordered 7 chicken empanadas, 1 ground meat, 1 cheese, and 2 cazón—and honestly, I loved all of them, especially the cazón, which was my favorite. The flavors were great and the food was fresh, the mora juice was amazing.

One downside was the sauce situation. We asked for extra sauce, and at first, they refused, which was frustrating. In the end, they did give us one extra, but it felt like pulling teeth.

Also, the restaurant could definitely use some cleaning—it didn’t look very tidy. However, the staff was friendly, and the cashier in particular provided excellent service. Overall, good food with room for improvement in cleanliness and customer service flexibility.“

“We stumbled upon Downtown Grille while walking in Mizner and it did not disappoint. If you are ever looking for a late night or during the day lunch spot, this place is it. Location was in walking distance to the hotel we stayed at. We got buffalo wings, Jalepeno poppers and the “good” burger. Owner was friendly and even gave us some extra sauces to try. For the price, it’s worth it. Generous amounts, hot and fresh. My burger was super tasty and cooked to medium rare perfection. The wings were tasty and juicy. We enjoyed this hidden gem. Stop by if you are in town and are hungry!“

MAY 1, 2017), Drive-Thru at the Speaker -- "1 Chicken Combo & 1 Hamburger Combo....and said I have coupons for each...person at drive-thru started with crap that I was suppose to tell them this before order. I said there's no sign to suggest this, then a female came on speaker giving her ten cents to say I'm suppose to say coupons before order. First were in 21st Century this can be added into order. Second so rude to your customer. I just did not fight, but drove to drive-thru window and asked for manager. The person in drive-thru said he's the manager. I said good I will report this to 1-800-800-8072 Feedback(And I Did)!, told him thank you for messing up my meal for tonight." - So I just went to Little Ceasars LOL....this Checkers location have very poor customer service skills, save yourself your money & grief. My only complaint is I asked for well done. The bottom of the crust is perfect as is, but I would have liked the top a little more toasty. Easy to place an order online, quick turnover and excellent choice of toppings and extras. I love pizza but dont order often since as a singleton, sometimes one pizza is too much. Ordered single serving with enough for lunch and dinner. Extremely happy and will go back. Better than frozen pizza by a mile.“
