“Truly an incredible place. From the waterfront views and thoughtful culinary creations, I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s hard to find a restaurant in the area that offers both good views and amazing food, and Kasumi checks both boxes. The amount of thought and detail that went into each plate, cocktail and interior design element truly shows. I came for Happy Hour (offered Tuesday-Friday, 5-7pm) and was blown away by the full-sized dishes and large variety of options to choose from. We came super hungry and tried almost everything on the menu because it looked so good, which worked out since everything was very shareable. The nigiri was phenomenal and literally melted in my mouth paired with the best house-made spicy mayo I’ve ever tasted; my only regret is not asking for a gallon of it to take home. The Grilled s
Shishito Peppers (dunked in the spicy mayo too of course) and Wagyu Beef Gyozas made the perfect appetizers and the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, Short Rib Fried Rice and Chicken Kushi Katsu stole the show - I think those were the best renditions of these dishes I’ve ever had all for a Happy Hour price. Don’t miss the cocktails as well, which are also discounted; the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned and Nashi Mule were expertly crafted, all made with fresh house made syrups and with unique twists. Although not part of Happy Hour, we treated ourselves to most delicious chocolate mousse and ganache dessert that I’m still drooling over. I will be definitely be back.“

“Found this place on Trip advisor when I was in town for business. Looked like it would be a good place to try out. This is a Great place to go if you are in the mood for tasty food. I had their Wonton soup and Spring rolls for an appetizer. The soup was tasty and a large bowl of soup. Each chicken wonton was very good. The spring rolls were cooked just right along with the dipping sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My main course I had 2 sushi rolls. The Rainbow Dragon roll and the tempura tuna roll. Both were so good and each had 12 pieces. The presentation of the rolls was nice too. I couldn’t stop eating all the food it was so good. Service was fast, and very pleasant. I will come back here again and again.“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. “The was a wonderful experience for lunch. I wanted to take my daughter for this amazing experience but not do a full dinner portion. There was A LOT of food and we were stuffed by the time we left. It was all very fresh and delicious. We tried new nigiri that were amazing. We were delighted to have the opportunity to taste these new flavors with beautiful craftsmanship and freshness. Probably the only things I could see to improve was that we were put in the corner even though there was only one other couple there. Thus, my view was behind the bar and not that "pretty". It was clean, but I would prefer to be seated at the regular bar area to have a nice experience looking at the chef prepare and not "behind the scenes". Also, the corner was right next to the water feature, and I could hardly hear the chef explain anything. That took away from the overall. The last thing was the artistry of the food. Maybe it was because we went for lunch? But other Omakase experiences, the chef turned the sushi into art with various toppings and other ways to excite the eyes as well as the palette. Here at Taki, the sushi was done perfectly, but it was just the rice, fish and sauce, not much else. However, one could say that there is nothing else needed with a delicious piece of nigiri... I'm only comparing it to another Omakase that I personally preferred. Overall, it was a perfect lunch place for this type of experience.“

For the entree I had the Chinese lo mein with shrimp and it was served fresh and hot. The food here is super filling! This is a fast food place so not many dine in. Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. “The best Thai not just in town but as good as you'd find in large metro area. We got takeout and I can tell you, that everything from soup to salad, sushi and main courses were outstanding! It's unfortunate that we discovered it so late and it puts Moon Thai to shame.
