“The sushi/ sashimi is the freshest and tastiest I’ve had in the area BUT- my only complaint and this might be a personal preference thing - the rolls are HUGE. like overly bulky and big, and they are very loose and sloppy. Like the rolls fall apart when you pick them up. They need to be rolled much smaller and much tighter. One roll I had to eat in almost 3 bites per piece. You def cannot pop one piece in your mouth. I also thought - and again this might be personal preference- but the sashimi pieces were soooooo thick. Like the salmon and tuna sashimi looked liked small square filets I could cook on a pan. It was almost 1 inch thick. I just like my sashimi thinner I guess?

“An absolutely incredible experience. The staff was super friendly, very accommodating, and the chefs were super knowledgeable. It was a pleasure learning about the different saki's, and how the dry age the fish to bring out excellent flavor profile, etc. There was a nice mix of both cooked and raw dishes. The A5 Wagyu and Miso seabass along with the tuna variety was delicious.

“Stopped by to grab some to go , and saw the rating was high and now I know why. I have a thing with restaurants that will have specials posted on the wall or written on a board , it lets me know they're growing as restaurant and open to ideas or willing to try new things, and that is one of the first things you'll see when you walk in. They'll have them posted on the wall where you can see. They also have a lot of pictures on the wall to show you what they're menu items look like. I love that everything on the menu isn't over priced! Great for it's quality of the food and quantity. The atmosphere kind of takes me back to a NY/NJ Sushi spot and you just know that if it looked like this, the food was gonna be great. They served all the popular rolls and they do have rice dishes like katsu and they have takoyaki which is something we are always ordering. Overall ,The service was on point, they were quick and attentive all while answering phone calls for orders. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid sushi spot. 🤙“

With only a .2 mile distance to boot, I forsee this becoming our regular go to for sushi takeout in the area.“

“I was in the area for an appointment and I decided I want to stop in this place that said Thai sushi express. I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was one of the best vegetable soup I had ever had quite condensed with tofu and the vegetables. I also ordered the spicy tuna sushi rolls excellent. I even like the seaweed wrap that they use, which was very different from other places that I have been a patron of. I will go again and make it one of my regular places to eat. I do agree with other reviews that it is some of the best sushi I have had in this particular area of Florida.“

“Had my first experience last night for dinner, with my father (89 years young who is now eating with me in many sushi restaurants). Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. We will definitely be going back, and I am happily sharing this review to encourage others to check it out. (I.e. the Rene Roll 😇). Thank You Albert!!“

“I liked the place. The sushi was fresh and good. I enjoyed it. I ordered a variety and was happy with it. I did think the chips for smoked fish dip were not fresh . I did like the dip. It was excellent. The food is good here.
The atmosphere is nice. The wallpaper inside this place is beautiful. It has a nice setup. It is a nice open restaurant with a big bar. It's nice. I liked it.
This restaurant is in a small shopping center. The parking is a little limited. It gets better toward the evenings because the other businesses are closed.“
