“This place is awesome, I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and the food is great the prices are cheap and the service is fast whoever is in the back cooking food deserves the up most appreciation because he does an excellent job every single time.. as I say… he never misses!!“

“If you like breakfast or brunch you'll LOVE First Watch. It was recommended to me and I decided to go with my oldest son. We got a table right away. Everything was clean and tidy. The waitress was super nice and they had our food out quickly. The servings are huge. I got the brioche French Toast that came with a berry compote on the side and it was amazing! Cooked to perfection and the 2 HUGE slices filled me up! Also, they serve mimosas. I want to go back and try the specialty bacon that everyone was raving about. Oh, make sure you tell them exactly how you like your eggs. My son forgot and unfortunately they were a little runny. Also, he ordered an iced coffee thinking it was just like any regular iced coffee but it tasted like alcohol - be sure to read the menu thoroughly because several items are unique. The waitress was very polite about it and took it off our bill. Handicap parking close by and the waitress held the door open for us. Prices are $$. Including top, it was around $60 for our meal for 3 (we ordered a third plate to go). I will return, and it gets a thumbs up recommendation from me.

“Part of the First Watch franchise near University of Central Florida. Nice, clean venue with a relaxed atmosphere. I only had two Morning Meditations (orange, lemon, turmeric, ornanic ginger, agave nectar and a splash of beet juice).

“We were so excited to have a First Watch five minutes from us. We eat at many different locations and having one so close was great, so we thought. The food is always good no matter which First Watch we go to. As a company, I would say you have the most consistently prepared food across the company as any restaurant gets. With that kind of good training in the kitchen it is service that does the most to distinguish each location. The service at this location is sub standard. I'm sure not everyone is bad but out of the four or five times we have been there we had poor service all but once. I have noticed the place is near empty our last couple of trips and increasingly dirty looking. I've never seen a manager which is a big red flag, especially when service is so poor. At other locations a manager can usually be seen helping out front or greeting guests. Today we ate at the First Watch on Mitchell Hammock, where we used to go before this one was built and the service was much better. We have decided that even though it is several miles further away it is worth the trip. We wont be back to this one for a long time or ever.“

The food was a bit of a mixed bag, hence the four stars instead of five. Some dishes were absolutely knock-your-socks-off delicious, showcasing real culinary skill. However, a few things, like the strawberries that came with dessert, could have used a little extra something - maybe a touch more syrup to really bring out their sweetness. “Great food and good atmosphere. My wife and I stopped in on our way home. This isn't a spot we'd been to before and it seemed everyone knew each other. Conversations were delightful and our server Jacob was very observant and delightful. He seemed to know his regulars and still made time for us new folk. I'd absolutely recommend this location.

“Had breakfast this morning. Ordered Corn Beef Hash, scrambled eggs and grits. The Hash was great. The eggs were cold and the grits were the consistency of soup. My breakfast was brought to me by one of the cooks in the kitchen. The same server replaced the grits with hash browns. Have eaten there several times but today seemed like total chaos which I never experienced before. Regardless of these events this morning I will be back to eat there again.“
